    I just made my first YS landing with the stick. The spring is a little stiff, but I would say it was one of my better landings. I think I'll keep it.

    Drag the Ground and User folders from the .zip file directly to the YS directory (where the .exe's are located) and they will be installed.

    No. 99% of addons, you drag the Aircraft/Ground/Scenery and User folders from a .zip into the main YS directory.

    D3D has issues rendering large polygons and for some reason renders them as fog at a lot of angles

    So smaller is better. No real effect on framerate until you get down to like meter per pixel mapped polygons

    Okak I was looking at making an DNM to FLD conversion tool for 2D shapes and my initial attempts with just outlines for the polygons didn't work well (weird effects in- scenery editor) so I figured that a bunch of triangular faces in the SRF would work better for the actual converasion, but wanted to check about in-game impacts

    Cause for me importing large images into scenery editor is bad, but works pretty good in blender.
