Does anyone have a resource which could explain what the values in a replay file mean, and how these files are structured? I'd appreciate it.

Mostly all known info about YSFlight file formats collected in "YSFlight Handbook" - viewtopic.php?p=92286#p92286 (NOTE: YFS-files are mostly the same for Mission and for Replay)

The handbook is less accurate than the .yfs topic. It's been updated since the handbook release

Same with the weapon data topic

Please, link both threads: on YFS-files for Replays and on Weapon data.

Small updates to .yfs and air .dats, large updates to weapon data, new ground .dat topic
  • waspe414Wed Apr 07, 2021 8:19 pm
Weapon data will get more at some point. I still have a fair amount to test
  • waspe414Wed Apr 07, 2021 8:20 pm
YFS and air .dat data needs a little more testing. Ground .dats are complete and accurate to my knowledge

#FunFact: The battery on my CyberPower UPS seems to have gotten to the point where even a 1-second power outage shuts it off. I guess I need a new battery for it. That's why YSCAS has been offline today.
  • TurbofanThu Apr 08, 2021 1:47 pm
Yeah that might do it. How long is the battery supposed to last?
  • NeoconThu Apr 08, 2021 9:45 pm
The warranty was 3 years. I bought it in April 2018. It is almost certainly still covered for another 9 days, but I would have to pay for shipping the whole thing for them to install the battery, which the comments in reviews say will cost as much as just buying a new battery and installing it myself.

Yeah that's a common theme these days.

I find it interesting that so many of these "British person reacts" videos include being surprised that Americans boil water in the microwave. I mean, why wait for several minutes for a kettle when the microwave can do it in 90 seconds or less?

I can't say I've ever boiled water in the microwave
  • decaff_42Sat Apr 17, 2021 12:26 am
I did it this week. Needed to make coffee/hot chocolate mix because I had a morning meeting.
