Re: Server issues with Linux

I see, maybe this explains why I don't have the same issue because I run the 64 bit version.

Re: YSFlight 20130805 (Rev. 2249) - some regressions

In my tests I was referring only to the YSFlight client, not the server, but yes, it's a good thing to know!

Re: YSFlight 20130805 (Rev. 2249) - some regressions

I see, the thing is that on an older version of YSFlight things went just fine, I had <5 minutes login time on any server. My internet connection speed doesn't matter in my case since I have a good one (as you can see in the dedicated topic). In my humble opinion -- even it will be a tough task -- I...

Re: Server issues with Linux

SIGBUS usually means that there's an unaligned memory access. I think that this would be best to be forwarded to Mr. Soji, he knows best how YSFlight behaves. Later edit: Can you please tell me what OS/hardware do you have there? And also what YsFlight version (see Help->About) and the architecture ...

[LINUX]YSFlight 20130805 (Rev. 2249) - some regressions

Hi guys, I have an issue with the latest version (see in the subject) of YSFlight for Linux (64 bit): whenever I join a server I have to wait a whole lot of time to log in (after 10-15 minutes I give up). This I compare with the previous ysflight version (some version from 2012). Maybe it's worth me...

Re: Server issues with Linux

Hello there fellow flying penguins! @Flyingfisch: try to run ysflight with strace, it's a really awesome tool! After you reproduce the error you could post here the output of strace; For this, run ysflight like this: strace ./ysflight &>> log.txt This will write you a pretty log file with the tr...

Re: YS Flight Test Version 2013-04-28 Released

For the Linux 'flavour' of YSFlight: Can you please compile it against an older version of glibc (2.13) so that the Linux users with a LTS distro can run YSFlight with minimal effort? For example I have an older version of glibc and for this I can't run the new YSFlight Test version since it was bui...

Me likey, as long as the server is located in Europe :D Better connection for all of us, I mean the infrastructure is better here than in the US or somewhere else (excepting South Korea).

Re: Aviation Photos/Videos

An old bird now rusting in silence at my airport (ex RoAF 93 Air Base): http://photoavia.net/photo/view//20793 There are some 20-30 MiG-23 left there like that... I get to see them every year on the 20th of July on Open Doors Day (Air Force Day in my country). Year after year the birds go to scrap o...

[bug=ysflight-consvr segfaults && frame dropping when writing in ysflight]On my Linux machine when trying to start the server (ysflight-consvr) segfaults. The app starts at first, loading the packs and gives the menu, but when choosing the "Start Server" option and a map it dies. I...
