Re: Aviation Photos/Videos

Last year as part of a ROTC training exercise we got treated to UH-60 transport from Camp Smith NY to West Point training grounds. I got a little bit of video in flight but its not the best quality. Was holding onto my ruck and weapon at the time while trying not to drop my phone, plus I was rather ...

Re: Training Weekends, and a New Outlook for Combat

I would be willing to put 1-2 hours on Sunday towards teaching basics. Landing, Low speed flying, navigation. I just need to brush up on a few things.

Re: Returning to YS

Ri Ra, I haven't seen that name before on here. You used to be on YSP right? I was most active ~4 years ago before college. I did have an account on YSP but was not really an active member. Mostly stuck to the 171 TS and in game. Hello, welcome back! i was wondering do u do any modeling? ;) Before ...

Returning to YS

Hey All,

Found my joystick and kinda fell back into the game. Glad to see the community is still around.

Before I left ys I was a part of the 171 flying in the VMFA-125 spending most of my time in combat fixed winged or helos.

Looking forward to flying with all of you again.

Re: YS Wishlist

Would be cool to have damaged planes. Instead of instantly dying you have the ability to try and make a landing in which you survive. Ejection seats come into mind but i do not see the point of them in a flight Sim. Honestly any kind of random event that causes conflict to the pilot in my opinion wo...

Re: Woah.... My EYES!

So it was the same thing that Gunny experienced except a brighter pink and only lasted about 3 seconds.

Maybe it was a brighter pink because you were flying at night?

How long was your computer running for that day?

Re: Boeing wins KC-X Contract

It's just that, they make the fighters stealthy, the bombers stealthy, but the transports and tankers will be the first targets of any fighters (as that is all they can see). I believe that the men and women who serve in the airforce would also think of things like this before sending a tanker out....

Re: [Recurring] Tuesday Night Flights (Civilian)

Nice to see another event like this.

For me, 7-9pm GMT would be 2-4pm my time. Doubt I would be able to make these. Although I will keep it in mind incase I am not up to much.

Keep up the good work.

Re: YS Grand Prix 2011

It is alot more interesting to have pilots make decisons about fuel consumption. If we could do it on full ab the entire race it would be a matter of who doesnt crash and who got the fastest start. If you want to race with full ab he entire time then challenge people to one lap races. Otherwise sit ...
