Re: New things from Soji

Particle rendering support in OpenGL 1.1 and Direct3D9 executables.
Massively and automatically tested add-ons. I hope the ones stopped working now works again.
Testing must not be too great if the D3D executable won't run.

YS is dead
My heart bleeds red
Soji is a stooge
Who practices subterfuge
And yet here we are
Sitting at the bar
YSflight is dead

It'll keep chugging as long as we stick around <3

Re: The best and worst flight sim

I've used X-Plane 10 for about a year now Well, I guess X-Plane 10 is good. I actually meant X-Plane 11. That one sucks. Also, some of the aircraft models are garbage. There's really no difference between X-Plane and FSX, as far as I can tell. Both are quite realistic. Yeah that's fair. On the airc...

Re: The best and worst flight sim

Adding another least favourite flight simulator: X-Plane. The desktop version. I kinda do like the mobile version, despite it's limitations and microtransactions, but the desktop version really sucks. Terrain is garbage, ATC doesn't work very well, and there's almost no freeware available. It also ...

Tried the D3D version, OGL1, OGL2, never got abotve 30FPS. I have a GTX1050, a solid processor, and didn't have anything in the background running during this time.
That moment when the saying used to be "but can it run Crysis", but now it evolved into "but can it run YS".

[PACK]Swift's Collection

Well, i'm finally releasing something for a change  . This is going to be a growing collection of addons that i've made for various packs that have never been given a proper release. It'll be growing with time as I finish projects or update older ones. https://i.imgur.com/qnvJGrF.png https://i....

Re: New things from Soji

I'm looking into Vulkan API by the way. One of the big problems of current programming is, in my view, that the graphics API has too much influence on the program and data structures. I see a lot of "to extract the best performance from GPU" while I read through Vulkan documentations and tutorials....

Re: (Aircraft)Stock F-16

Now this is ingenious, I love the idea of just taking a stock aircraft with stock hardpoints and giving it a visual overhaul. Oddly enough the stock F-16 now reminds me of the new Block 70, just without CFTs.

Well done!
