Thank you all!
Kilo 11 wrote:Finally! my favourite Team is here on YSF! btw, are you planning to update it anytime later?
I'm not planning to, at least not in the short term.

EDIT: oh, maybe a little update in the .dat file would be better, because of unrealistic stall.

[AIRCRAFT] MB.339 PAN Freece Tricolori

Hi folks! It's been a long time since I paused this project but I wanted to release it no matter what, so I added the vertical stabilizer number and the text logo; it just misses some details as the cockpit, underwing pilons and moving parts. http://s75.photobucket.com/albums/i286/DavideV/FrecceTric...

ATC Simulator

Wanna try a glimpse of the thrill of being an ATC?

www.atc-sim.com

A simple online simulator, it work just by clicking the flight number and then entering a few text command.

Have fun!!

Re: CRJ-700/900 Series

There's a CRJ-200, instead. [s]If the other version are just an "extended" version of the 200 the thing could be easily done in a few days[/s]. The 700-900 has some improvement and the fuselage need some reshaping. The same for the wings. But there's a good cockpit already and that's a good amount o...

Re: acf492 server - IMC Mondays

This is a very nice idea, too bad I have no time for online flights... I'm used to check METAR strings at the arrival planned airport and set the same conditions on my YSF session. These days skyes are clear, I'm just waiting for some sort of storm to come :)

Re: Hong Kong / TNCM improvement V.2 [TAIWAN]

Really, really great...

If you want to get the experience a level up... http://vatsim.hk/airports/VHHX_ALL.pdf

I've tried the (IGS)RWY13 at page 10, starting from VHHX_VISUAL_APPROACH_RWY13 and it has been a wonderful YSF experience... PS. it's even better starting from VHHX_IGS_RWY13_INITIAL

Re: Realistic Flight Documents for ATC and Procedures

Hello Lux, thanks for the answer, but what I really don't understand is if the gradient is just a MINIMUM or if a pilot must stay in that gradient (within a certain allowance). The first link I posted says that "exceeding the 40:1 departure slope and or 200 feet per nautical mile climb gradient will...

Re: Realistic Flight Documents for ATC and Procedures

This is a goldmine! You've done an impressive work, I find it to be a very interesting and instructional reading... some adjustments still need to be done in order to meet the YS simulator environment, though. 1) Squawk. There's no real need to set a squawk code in YS. Maybe it could be done in YSPS...

Sentinel has made a point: the problem of a realistic YSFlight is the YSFlight community itself.

Documentaries to watch.

Hello people! I've almost finished watching all the tv-series and movies I have on my iPod, so I thought I could start watching someting aviation-related as in the next days I'm gonna be bored spending my 4/5 hours of daily commuting . I'd like to watch any kind of documentaries like the Blue Angel'...

Re: GE flightsimulator

Awesome!!

Physics is good, and some locations are just mind-blowing... If you have a fast connection try to fly over teh Acropolis in Athenes - Greece (one of the pre-set locations) and give it some time to load all the 3d buildings... guys... I'm speachless!!

Welcome aboard, Captain! ;) [...]I promise I will try my best to make the YSFlight VA's more realistic. (Including ATC, Procedures, etc...) Re: Mariana Islands - South

Great map.

I'm thinking about doing something like the Megadodo map with real world distances between SOCAL, Hawaii, West Japan, Mariana Islands, Hong Kong, St.Marteen... It's going to be a MASSIVE scenario :D
