A 10-minute-long video explaining the basics of YSFS to new players. It's limited to Windows, but nonetheless, still might come in handy if you want to teach your friends how to play.

Simple question. I have a technologically-illiterate friend with a Chromebook who wants to play YS, but we're not sure if it's possible for YS to be run on Chrome OS. Can it be done, or will he have to go all the way and replace Chrome OS with Linux to be able to play?

The old site for downloading the York Valley map, as linked to on the ysflight.org scenery page, is dead. Does anyone have a mirror to download this map off of?

I've never seen a server try to run every mod in existence, but I can't imagine that would be fun to load. It sounds like it would take as long as Kang Fu on the Amiga CD32...

Personally, I think it would be a better use of time and resources to try and expand the YS player base. Making a new game is, to be frank, a waste of effort if exactly ten people on the planet know it exists, and five of them are the developers.
