Re: What are you listening to right now?

Here's an old one. I remember hearing this when I was very young and liking it. I don't particularly like jazz or this type of music, but I thought it was good.

Re: Aircraft you spotted today

In 2006 I said I'd never go to Memphis again, but I had to go, so there I went today. While I sat in the parking lot, I saw several commercial/cargo jets flying in and out of MEM. The best thing was the C-17 I saw fly over. Looking at Flight Aware, I am pretty sure it was heading for DOV.

Re: I need HELP!!!!

I downloaded the newest version of YSF and tried to manually extract it using the method in my tutorial video. It worked. Edit to ask: Are you using Windows 10? I never saw an answer to that question. Since it looks like you used a third party snipping tool instead of the Snipping Tool built into Wi...

Re: I need HELP!!!!

My tutorial video shows how to install YSF manually.
You will need 7zip, but in my opinion, everybody should install 7zip as soon as their new computer is running.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Eddie Van Halen died today. He and Alex did the song at the end of Twister, which I always thought was a good way to end the movie.

Guam to SoCal 2020

This is update to the G2S map includes a new area you may know of, Santo Rivas, the island map by Turbofan, which is located between Hawaii and Mexico. I was able to import many ground start positions, as well as in-flight start positions.

I just stumbled onto the youtube channel of Marvin Astley's cousin, and found some of his songs from 2016.

Re: Thought of the day.

Somebody somewhere got a hold of the password I used for several of my social and media accounts and started logging into Twitter, Hulu, Spotify, and Twitch. So today I was looking for an e-mail and checked my spam folder. Back in July somebody sent a message with my old password in the subject lin...

Re: taskforce 58 site broke, now what?

I remember a time when everybody said, "Once it's on the internet it is forever." All of the websites made back in those days are slowly being taken off the internet. Forever isn't what it used to be.

Re: Thought of the day.

You see "artists" on Reddit complaining about "choosing beggars" who ask to pay for artwork that would cost $100 with "exposure" on their 50k subscriber Youtube or Instagram account. Meanwhile, real advertisers are charging a whole lot more money to advertise to a much smaller audience on local radi...

Thought of the day: Has anybody else noticed that the more likely somebody is to have serious problems from the "human malware", the less worried they are about it? My 93 year old grandmother has basically continued living her life like nothing was going on. The older people I know are wanting to go...

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator will launch on August 18th on PC

This thing only has a few airports. 30 airports for the $60 version. It looks great, but where is the value? Am I missing something? Who cares about major airports? FSX has the entire world with most airports that existed when it was made and the ability to easily change them or add newer ones. I do...

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator will launch on August 18th on PC

You know, at 150 GB, it would take me nearly a week to download, and while my computer meets the "recommended" specifications, my bandwidth is on the "minimum" specification list. I'll never forget that it took 48 hours to download GTA V when it was 79 GB. Outside of large urban areas, half the coun...

It was in the high 80s and low 90s here in rural northwest Tennessee the last few days, but with humidity it felt like absolute pain. We have been having a little bit of rain now and then to keep the dust from being too dusty.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Bill and Ted 3 just put out their first trailer, which brought back memories of the Kiss version of this song. It turns out, I like the original version by Argent better than the Kiss version. Youtube gave me this video and I'm giving it to y'all, but God gave rock and roll and put it in the soul of...
