Oi, I know what you are implying and I'll have to ask you to keep a lid on it, especially in public. We, YSFHQ, can get shut down if the right person comes along and says t...

Re: How am I Doing?

There actually is ablender script that will allow you to import .obj which sketchup uses Minor correction; .obj is the native format of Blender; SketchUp's format is .skp / .skb, but SketchUp Pro can export to .obj I'm presuming that there's also a .skp import script for Blender though? Minor corre...

Re: How do you guys make Taxiways?

Do you then like, grab a calculator and calculate the individual points per 5 degrees? Only when I'm working on re-usable parts, but otherwise I just look and guess. drag, place... nope that's not it, delete, place... nope... again, AH THATS IT. You got a chuckle outta me there. Which is quite an a...

Can you release the blanks, too? I'd love to do a bunch of retro paints. I love vintage. (thinking about a Lufthansa paint that I saw flying a few years back and instantly fell in love with)

I would suggest dropping demoplanes on the server, people tend to like these. Also, will this be a no-weapons server?

Re: Aviation Photos/Videos

Not sure, but is that runway really that bendy? Must not be fun to takeoff from O.o So is it also that short? No, the point of view creates an illusion that the runway is build on an highly unleveled surface. Though it is not completely flat, it is not as hilly as it seems. Sure. Must be the big le...

Re: Aviation Photos/Videos

A video montage of some sharp angle (and strong wind) crosswind landings at Birmingham International Airport (BHX) in England. This is where all the hours in the (real) simulator pay off (and kudos to the videographer for bringing us these): Source: Youtube - flugsnug . Not sure, but is that runway...

Sadly, YSUpload throws a MySQL database error. I don't know if this is related to the file, as I have not checked for other files.

Do you then like, grab a calculator and calculate the individual points per 5 degrees? I could imagine doing that for myself :P (though I'd rather use a list, as I have a graphing calculator...)

Re: New things from Soji

3D editors are never easy to use, because of the 2D screen/3D object thing.

Also. We should get soji to get rid of the blue color for windows. It sucks. If he'd use a shade of black like the GAC pack, that'd make it so much better already.
