Re: YSBSJT | VBSJT - From Concept To Fully Fledged Team

I couldn't watch the livestream yesterday but just saw the demo in the video, you guys absolutely nailed it. But then again, knowing how you guys roll (literally and figuratively) I think the community has come to expect no less than perfection, which you deliver everytime (in YSFS and now DCS). Als...

Re: Active Airport ATC Session | Saturday, December 8 | Honolulu Int'l

Hey all,

So that anyone who wishes to attend this ATC session also wants to see the livestream performance of the VBSJT this Saturday, we are postponing this ATC session by one week to next Saturday, the 15th of December. The time of the ATC session will remain the same.

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

We had a great Friday Night Flights tonight. Welshy, decaff, Daishi and I flew a couple flights, first from LAX to HNL (decaff joined us already enroute from SEA), then from HNL over to LIH, a short hop of around 30 minutes. LAX-HNL_foursome_1.png LAX-HNL_foursome_2.png LAX-HNL_foursome_3.png

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

Potential for severe weather exists today in the southern plains, we'll be on the western edge of the higher-end stuff. And uh, not sure why it says "mostly clear". Probably should read "partly cloudy" instead :P WS_LF36.png The ArkLaTex, as its known appears to have the best chance of getting the h...

Re: Why are the servers so empty?

Yeah, Friday Night Flights on the YSCAS are a good time to join, but just to clarify it's Friday nights in the U.S. It's usually based on when I join the server (not sure how that happened :D ) but around 7:30 or 8:00 U.S. CST is when that begins. Keep an eye out in the mchat towards the end of each...

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

Some shots from online flights yesterday (so it was a Saturday Night Flights this week instead of FNF). This time I was joined by Hornet in the ANA 787-8 while I flew the GBL 330-300 from CSH to SER.

Just starting to pull the nose up in the GBL 333 while Hornet is about to taxi onto RWY 27R.

Hornet had to re-join the flight from an en-route air-start position, which was ahead of my location. He flew back to join me in-flight with engine contrails, then made a sharp right turn as he neared my location. It produced this great result.

After our arrival at SER. It was a fun flight!

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

Currently: LF_CC.png We had a high temperature of 71F today. Tomorrow: around 47F with NW winds from 20-30 with higher gusts. The local NWS forecast office has issued a wind advisory for our area. Whenever the NWS issues ANY kind of wind product for this area, you know it's going to be very windy.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Great smooth jazz/acoustic fusion tune. The part that starts at 30 seconds in (and is repeated again) reminds me of the music that used to be played for certain aviation or space documentaries/kids science shows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydZFOMoRW7g And oh yeah, this is yet another classic th...

Re: Why are the servers so empty?

Not sure if we've had 15 at once on the civav but eight for sure is the highest I've seen. Unless you were referring to airshow spectators. Recently this summer, we had a trans-Pacific group flight from LAX to HND. That was a blast. This past Friday decaff, Neocon and I flew from GUM to LAX in the G...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

So an unusual snowfall in November. Temperatures are running about 25-30F below seasonal averages. This morning we had about an inch to two inches of snow in the metro area, higher amounts out west. The ground temperatures are still plenty warm so roads were just wet, with some slick spots (bridges ...

Awesome shots, both from FNF and the YSTB sortie!

Here are some shots from my end of FNF.

It would be cool if you also will add few screenshots with comparsion of all views on some single aircraft. Not sure what you mean. Do you mean screenshots showing the available EXCAMERA positions in one aircraft? On another note, I forgot to mention that for some the positions, you may have to zoo...

Re: [PACK] Re-upload - Jetliner's Repaint Pack

This is one of the many packs that was released before the "user" folder became popular. You should put the folder named "JRP" directly in the main YSFS folder (where you have the aircraft, ground and scenery folders), then copy/paste the lines in the readme.txt into the default aircraft.lst file. I...
