Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

Had one flight in the MD-88, still remember it well. Great aircraft! They had a good run indeed.

Re: Thought of the day.

Thought of the day: A website that is named "FlightAware" always seems to have the most anti-aviation people commenting on nearly every news article. Go figure.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

This showed up in my "Discover Weekly". Nice tune! This is not The Butterhills' original track, the original was composed by The Cowsills (which was another family band in the '60s and had their own musical talents), but I did like this cover slightly better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiv0hyZq...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2020

Did I mention hail being the main threat for us this severe season? More storms today, more large chunks/balls of ice falling from the sky. Thankfully missed us but unfortunately did fall and cause damage about 5-6 miles to our east, continuing to our SE then S as a powerful supercell tracked on sou...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2020

I was watching the coverage of that line on WeatherNation, certainly looked stout on radar (and now we know just how stout it was). Glad to know you all are safe though, hope you get some help getting that tree off the roof. Also good that you got your electricity back sooner than expected, hope eve...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

I ususally don't listen to country but this is a catchy tune. The banjo is a great compliment.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

^I've heard about that show, never watched it though. I've heard it was pretty popular. I came upon a song this morning in my "Discover Weekly" playlist. Had no idea what it was but seeing David Benoit, I thought it might be another one of his jazz tunes that I hadn't discovered yet. Much to my surp...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Another watch-n-listen. Blast from the past! I pretty much watched each episode of this series, what a cool show (and a bike of your fantasies lol). Note: You'll have to watch this on the main Youtube site since the embedded videos now have a bar that remains on top of the video. https://www.youtube...

Re: Thought of the day.

It seems that one is "in" something that they control (their own car, their own location) as opposed to being "on" something that is out of their control (A rollercoaster, bus, etc.) What most clearly expresses this to me is how I would say I am "on" a commercial flight as compared to "in" my own p...

Re: Thought of the day.

My thought of the day: why is it that people say "I am on the airplane" instead of "I am in the airplane"? Because, technically, you actually are going into the plane, as opposed to on it i.e. you would be on the fuselage if you were on the plane, but you are walking into an airplane's cabin when yo...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2020

The storm hit here about 9 PM. The wind was strong, close lightning, then it was gone as fast as it appeared. Maybe 15 minutes, 25 at the most, from first sounds of thunder to realizing I hadn't heard thunder in a while. It went north and south of us, as storms usually do because of the hills to th...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2020

Yeah it's been a rough day east and northeast of us, lots of severe weather reports, Jonesboro AR got hit pretty bad I saw. Hope nothing too bad in your area Pat. Over here, not a bad day save for the winds from the NW at 20-30 mph with some higher gusts. Temp made it into the upper 60s, tomorrow ve...

Many addons will be installed on the server. While we strive to have as many mods as possible installed some will unfortunately be installed.
Hmm, can't think of any addons that are that bad... j/k j/k.

^Many stores are rationing now. And glad you caught the jerk/s in action and got your passwords changed. And you already seem to have done that but yes, having a different password for each site is also a good thing. Make your password as long and as complicated as you possibly can. I also try and c...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2020

Forecasts were pretty much on-point, got anywhere from 3-6 inches of snow in the metro, with some locally higher amounts. Schools are closed for the day and so kids are out and about sledding and stuff. Dozens of accidents and lengthy delays though, no shock there. I'm glad I work in the IT industry...

Weather In Your Area 2020

Time to start a new one (albiet kind of late this time :P ). So far the new year has been on the mild side, we've had several systems come through and made January one of our wettest on record. Typically, Jan is our driest month. So the rain is always welcome this time of year. It's also been quite ...
