Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

So, continuing the topic of strange weather... Yesterday, a very sharp cold front moved a lot further south than forecast (these things have a mind of their own sometimes) and dropped the temperature by 25 degrees or so in Oklahoma City (Went from near 70F to 45F). Meanwhile, where I live (south sid...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

^Nice take on a CCR classic there ;) Here in Oklahoma, many weather events have taken place which are rare but quite unusual. Gary England, the well-known meteorologist wrote a book called "Weathering the Storm" (excellent book by the way if you're into all things weather-related, plus a chronology ...

Morning rush at LNB as seen from the observation deck/tower next to the RWY 25 hold pad. Part of an ATRP in progress.

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

Near-record breaking to record-breaking highs today (highs in the upper 70s and low 80s) and then getting very cold tomorrow (highs in the mid 40s, lows in the mid 30s tomorrow morning). There are some rain chances though and we definitely need moisture since the drought's getting worse.

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

Got several camera positions in decaff's 747-8 done. Included are several cameras in the cabin, both in front of and behind the wing on both sides, a dashcam as well as a tail-mounted taxi camera. Yeah, that's what I have also, though I installed it when it was Microsoft Security Essentials. Between that and Malwarebytes, I'm covered.

Re: Thought of the day.

Qantas' livery is definitely better, the Kangaroo and the black lettering add more depth. This has just one tone, except for the white crane logo.

Try the steps listed in the Avast (first) section here (except look for the YSFS .exe instead of Muir).

Re: Thought of the day.

This falls into the category of "What the h*** were they thinking?!!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ESysmjjIjg Having flown LH as much as I have and as much as I have enjoyed its previous livery (simple, yet elegant), I think it's going to take a very long time for me to get used to this one. Eve...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

By "seven cities" I think you mean the ones for the regional forecast and current conditions maps. I tried to attach my local profile data file but HQ doesn't allow .dat extensions (says it's an invalid file extension). It doesn't matter all that much since you can choose whatever cities you like, b...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

"Currently in your area, six degrees under fair skies... "Coming up, a look at your local radar . But first, your current local conditions." I remember I recorded a segment of the Weather Channel where the song they used was Norman Conners "Kellie's Theme" and fell in love with the song and watchin...

The high for today will be a staggering 34F. Woot! Shooting all the way up to 68F on Saturday, when some people will wear shorts no doubt.

Me in the Abel Jets MD-11, decaff in the Air Baltic CS-300, Pat in the Stellar Express CS-100 (just exiting RWY 25), and TC and Dragon Mech (planes didn't appear for some reason) at Ocaso International Airport. Great flight night!
