Re: [Linux]Error with PMNV North Caribbean ground obj.

Can you tell us exactly what error you're getting? Is it the "Cannot load..." error? I have that exact same treeforest.dnm file also but I have a few others, like treeforest1.dnm etc. From the looks of it you might not have the treeforest.srf file, check to see if you have that. If not, you might ne...

Waves of showers and storms today, copy/paste for the next two days. Break on Thursday, then showers and storms beginning Friday lasting into the following Monday. The monsoon's migrated to the southern plains!

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

On final approach to CSH. ATC vectored our Embraer 190 to 9R while a Global 333 joined us for a 9C approach. The Cashville skyline passed by while we were in "alignment". Great opportunity to take a quick shot :)

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

Regional forecast: WS_RF.png Not bad temps at all, in fact they're running below average for the next seven days or so. It's shaping up to be a pretty wet August here (at least the first half anyway). We got several rounds of showers and storms the past couple of days with over an inch of rain recor...

Re: ATC Session | Sunday, 5 August 2018 | Atlantica V2.0

Ok so for those wishing to join the ATC session tomorrow (August 5, 2018), just a few guidelines: - Spawn at a ground-based start position. This can be a taxiway or runway hold short position also if you wish, but a gate position is highly recommended. However, air-based start positions will NOT be ...

Re: [Video] Huh? Stock B-52 wings appear to sag initially

Yeah, back when I started playing YSFS in '01, the stock B-52's wings did flex as the plane started gaining speed. So that feature has been around since then for sure. It's the Variable Geometry Wing or VGW parameter that you see in the data file (.dat). That's "coupled" with the part/s in question ...

Re: Turbofan's SPUN

I overhauled the Cashville skyline.

I'm in the process of putting in start positions at the CSH and KCY concourses. There will be a plethora of them to choose from. Also included will be some new short final positions :).

Re: Turbofan's SPUN

Just a suggestion to your work: more short final location. I love flying short final! :D If you consider adding more short final location, can you make it higher and further from the airport? Thanks a lot! :) Adding short final positions is pretty easy (provided you do a little easy Trigonometry ;)...

Re: Turbofan's SPUN

The new airport code for Kapman City International: KCY. I have already re-named the ILS box and VOR tags to reflect the airport's new name and code. All work at KCY is complete, so work will now start at SER. Here are a few more shots of the main "work areas" at KCY: The new RWY 23 hold pad. The ce...

^Well that was random. Good thing this happened during a slow taxi and not at high speed or something. --------------------------------------------- EDIT: July 27, 2018 Fantastic USAF footage from Glasgow Prestwick. Re: What are you listening to right now?

A snazzy tune from Donald Fagen. A local RV show used to play the instrumental part of this song back in the late 90s and early 2000s, but I never figured out the song till a few weeks ago, when I listened to it in Spotify's "Discover Weekly" suggested songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi4hbVAf...

I knew the traffic at EAA Air Venture was crazy but this video actually demonstrates it. It's like Heathrow but with GA and prop planes!

Parts 2-4 are equally mesmerizing.

Re: Turbofan's SPUN

More Atlantica V2.0 updates. I've changed the name of Euphatica to Kapman (CAP-mun) City. For some reason Euphatica seemed too weird of a name. Kapman City seems much more reasonable (and easier to pronounce!). Also, I checked Google and this city name does not exist in real life so I'm good to go I...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

Currently 103F with heat index of 107F. Pretty sure this is the hottest day of the year so far (expecting a high of 109F).

On another note, looks like a severe weather outbreak might be brewing to our east.

At 9:40p.m. ...

The high today was 105F with a dewpoint in the low 60s. This caused the heat index to soar into the 110s. I like hot weather but even I must admit this borders on ridiculous. The high tomorrow will be around 109F with a slightly lower dewpoint. Blast furnace anyone?
