That music! Sure has a certain feel to it.
One of my favourite tv themes for sure! 70's disco mixed with some special effects.

Re: YSFlight Videos

Back with a new video! Earlier I posted a short time-lapse video of movements at LNB, but that only covered part of one replay I made at the airport (last year that is). I have two replays sitting in my computer's hard drive and I really wanted to make a proper spotting video. So that's what I have ...

^Totally relate to that experience. Sometimes, expert = ego. Too much ego. Speaking of ego and other things related, brings me to my thought of the day. If you want to know just how stupid humanity can get these days, look no further than Youtube. Amazing just how insane the comments can get these d...

Amazingly enough, copy/paste the above for today. Only thing different about this morning's storms are the lightning strikes causing quite a ruckus around us. Hey, that rhymed! :P

Re: Tim Clark wants windowless planes

I understand where this structural weakness argument is coming from but don't agree with just eliminating them altogether. Planes have been flying for decades now with windows, and it's exceedingly rare for an airplane to crash because a window was the weak link. Then again, that's just my 2 cents' ...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

^That's definitely weird, even for you guys.

Currently, 75F with scattered storms. Won't have to water the plants today, woot! Highs later this week will be in the mid-90s, with plenty of humidity around, especially after recent rains.

Re: Tim Clark wants windowless planes

I can see the next step now. The plane is crashing and the passengers are seeing a recording of a smooth flight because that's cheaper than providing a live image. That or the whole projection system gets knocked out of service at the same time the plane has an accident/incident, causing chaos and ...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

After some days of rain and storms, the heat is back, except this time with humidity. Note the dewpoint.

It will generally get hotter as the week progresses, but not too out of control. No complaints though, I'd generally take this over freezing my behind off any day.

I did some train spotting in Johnstown. Airbourne definitely was not kidding when he said "long".

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

I was doing some spotting at CSH the other day and managed to catch this zoomed-in view of some tail poking out of the new NCA hangar on the east of the field. Unfortunately, this is the only shot I got before security asked me to leave since I was in a sensitive area by the fuel farm. #mysterytail ...

Re: Turbofan's SPUN

The newly re-built center runway at CSH is now complete, along with the associated high-speed exit taxiways. Both ends of the new 09C-27C are equipped with an ILS and PAPI, and of course, the runway has full-on night lighting. I also gave it new hold pads at either end, both of which can accomodate ...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

^I noticed the temps that day in the U.K, that is pretty hot for you guys, especially this early on. For us that's pretty seasonal. Highs in the upper 80s today, even some low-mid 90s out west. A stormy pattern will persist through much of the next five days or so. Along with hail and high winds, yo...

Re: Turbofan's SPUN

I finally got some time this year to continue working on the Atlantica V2.0 update. Below are some screen shots of what I have been working on. If you know what the previous CSH terminal area looks like you'll notice quite a few changes here. Here's an overview of the entire terminal area looking to...
