Re: Favourite airplane

Favourite fighter: F/A-18 Super Hornet (just saw one going over my area to Tinker AFB the other day!) Favourite military transport: Lockheed C-5A Galaxy. No other plane can produce such glorious sounds. Favourite civilian airliner: Look to the right. 'nough said. Favourite general aviation: Gulfstre...

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

I don't understand the problem. The nose gear on the Concorde is straight on my end. :?: But it's not on my end. Thus the question ;). I had the same problem with decaff's 748s. Since I run the 2011 version of YS, any dynamic model file with 2015 or later-year CLAs causes the nose gear-turned-to-ri...

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

A relatively quiet FNF tonight but a fun one nonetheless. I flew the Hawaiian 763ER from OGG to OAK, while Pat joined half an hour after I took off in the NCA Concorde. We both arrived at almost the same time, Pat had to go around since I took the wrong runway for landing haha. Anyway, some SS for y...

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

Friday Night Flights! Island hopping around the Azores this time.

azores1.png
At Lajes Airport after the first short hop from Santa Maria Airport. I flew the NCA Citation 750, decaff the Stellar Express Q400 and Welshy joined us in the Swedish Air Force Saab 340 AEWC.

azores2.png
After the second hop from Lajes to Flores. Me still in the Citation, while decaff flew the Lineage and Welshy flew a much faster RJ-70. Needless to say that ramp is not meant for more than a few aircraft, not of these sizes!

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

Two of the seven new EXCAMERA positions I added yesterday in decaff's 727-200. I'd been wanting to add these to this plane for a while, finally got around to doing it. And yes, this is from the FNF replay I saved last Friday.

Re: Weather In Your Area 2018

It's been quite the wet pattern from the start of August till now and still on-going. Beginning Friday last week we've been getting rounds of showers and storms, and our secondary severe weather season (yes, we usually have two of those in the Southern Plains) has lived up to its name over the weeke...

Pretty cool 80s tune you don't hear these days (at least not around here):

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

Tonight's Friday Night Flights included short hopping around the Canaries. Here's decaff, me and Pat (top to bottom) after the second flight from Tenerife North to Lanzarote. Decaff and I flew from Funchal Madeira to Tenerife North, where Pat joined us (he started at Tenerife South in the Metro Conn...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Richrad Tyznik came out with some great jazz tunes back in the day. This is one of my favourites. Also got a lot of play time on TWC, no surprise there.

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

It was another fun Friday Night Flights. Quite busy too this time, with me, Welshy, decaff, Neocon and Bombcat joining in the fun. Welshy, decaff and I flew from MEM to TRI, Bombcat and Neocon (Pat) joined us later.

TRI_FNF_1.png
At KTRI. Decaff taxiing in with the Delta CS-100, me at the gate (NCA 735) and decaff and Welshy in their F-35s. That's not a typo, decaff was "multi-flying". ;)

TRI_FNF_2.png
Pat at the gate (MC 318-100) after a short flight from TYS.

TRI_FNF_3.png
Someone took this zoomed-in shot from the terminal. Decaff was flying two of the F-35s, Welshy was in the other one and Bombcat was in the Gripen. Not everyday you see so many bombers at TRI!

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

Had some fun again with Friday Night Flights on the YSCAS earlier this evening.

UPS_NCA_at_MLA.png
It's a Boeing party! Me in the NCA 789, decaff in the UPS 763ERF and Patrick in the NCA 752

Another view.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

A double-header!

Van Halen has some great intros. Of course the song is cool as well.

Another great song. One of Pink Floyd's "under-the-radar" songs, not that well-known. A great classic nonetheless!
