I'm not saying its better than the old way with Perl scripts..but if you're looking for a visual way to do most everything on an aircraft (Mod the whole DNM...) This stuff works.

Dig deep into yspilots.com to find the information on how to maintain transparency or restore it. The latest versions of the blender scripts should work and not compromise transparency like you're seeing.
