This is actually pretty good for Australia in general. The problem though is that I live in share accommodation and the router just drops me repeatedly, without warning, for up to hours on end.

This could be interesting.

I'l go with the MD-83 for the fatal T-tail stabiliser flaw that killed 88 in Alaskan Airlines Flight 261.

Re: Idea for an airline

Now, this isn't to beat your idea up. But it is to be realistic. So many have come before you, wanting to start a VA. Truth is about 5% of them succeed. You CAN start a VA if you want, but you'll need to develop a name for yourself and the skills required if you want to do so. For now, why not just ...

Re: Idea for an airline

Which medium did you contact these airlines in and when? They are quite often very responsive so this sounds abnormal. Perhaps you should try a few times. Founding your own airline is no easy task - You need to understand how to fly almost everything correctly - namely, full IFR and VFR plus all sor...

I mean don't get me wrong, I'd love to join but the internet at my house is potatos - I have to reset my wifi every 2 minutes, not even exaggerating.

In fact one person already contacted me about doing a duo routine and I sadly had to decline.

Re: New things from Soji

I see where he's coming from - a float of 4 bytes * 4 should be a byte array of 16. But what the hell does this have to do with maintainability of YSFlight? Sounds more like a new coding hobby project. "We need YSFlight to be able to use modern api's" No, we don't. Age of Empires II still works fine...

Well do you want to share what that error is so it can be solved? Or do you just want to bump every thread that is more than 2 months old?

Re: New things from Soji

Lol the UI is broken and I can't even join flight in any aircraft on any map without the game crashing. Great auto/manual testing Soji. Maximise mode is now fullscreen too. He renamed SMALL_MAP to just SMALL which will be great for backwards compatability. He's also added a few "Racing" maps that we...

Re: Modding Permissions From Various Modders

My policy is do whatever the hell you want with the YSFlight models/dats etc I make. I give attribution to all contributing artists and I ask you do the same - ie, creative commons non-commercial share alike 3.0 attribution. Now as for my software? that's a bit tighter regulated as it's potentially ...

I think this is better suited to be placed here. If we can confirm repeatable on multiple maps, then it's a YS bug and not a map specific bug.

https://i.imgur.com/5DSzhGV.png More work. PacketInspector is now hidden on launch, and can be revealed by clicking the magnifying glass icon. Which means I am starting to implement the UI icons. I intend to link up the UI to the Settings more robustly. Speaking of settings, I am now able to both l...
