Re: Boeing timeline graphic mistakingly promotes Airbus 321

The 737 is easily distinguishable compared to ALL other large commercial airliners. The gear, the wings, the everything.

How one can choose to photoshop Boeing 737 onto a stock image of an Airbus 321 is mind boggling - did you think no one would notice?

Re: [PROGRAM] OpenYS - Open Source YSFlight Server!

I've had a look but honestly that's really hard to narrow down due to my previously poor coding habits. I can tell it's a null exception error but I don't know where, because the PDB thingo isn't working. :/

Long story short don't re-invent the wheel - follow the history of ysflight events and look at how they were run. Do the same thing. You got this!

Here in Australia this weekend the temperatures reached 48C~121F all at once, 90% of New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australian states. ( Temperature Map ) As a result, our volunteer rural fire services and paid fire brigades are all working overtime to get the fires sorted out. For ...

Something I don't understand is the need for "Security" Having "Security" just says to the would be attackers "Hey, there are people here that you can fight, and it's a prime trolling target". I would instead advise to scrap the entire "Security" model and instead use the features YSFlight comes wit...

Correct, the "bullet" is always oriented north. Oversight in coding I think.

u2fly, I never thought I would say this so soon but excellent work sir. Your vision is eerily similar to mine and that both impresses and inspires me.

Time for me to get back to work. I hope to keep current on your projects.

I think CP wins hahaha.

Intel i5-4440
Corsair 4GB DDR3 * 2
Nvida GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC.
Kingston SSD 240GB
Some PoS Ebay 250gb HDD.
ASRock M80 base board.

Not the best, not the worst. It's fast in all the right areas.

Re: Flakes Construction Yard

Finally got hardpoints and weapons loading to play nice. I'm loading the weapons available to the aircraft right now (Max AAM it can have loaded etc.) The hard part is finding a fair score to assign to each weapon type. I mean, one rocket should not be worth as much as one AAM in the score calculati...

Fixed a simple error with the stealth calculation. A ">" need to be a "<". Now working properly. Also note change in how strength is calculated. (Quadratic corners at points 0,0; 10,5; 100;10.) Report attached. EDIT: Weapons loading score is still not loading correctly. Some issue with LINQ. It's re...

Regarding Flakes Library I'm considering ongoing compatibility. I'm coding for .NET 4.0 now as part of this library. I'm not necessarily targetting windows as a principle now. Any platform that supports .Net 4.0, It should be possible to build Flakes Library for. This means OYS and etc. could eventu...

Re: Scenery Editor Problem

If you are trying to place the map ON an elevation grid - ie: elevated airport, the answer is to set protected polygons then Elevtion Grid -> Map from Protected Polygons.

See my Phillip Island map for a demo of this. The race track and airport are slightly elevated.

Re: Merry Christmas YSFHQ

Hi all! It's been a great year for YSFHQ. We've had our conflicts and disagreements but honestly there is no place I'd rather be. At the end of the day, we're all on the same team (YSFlight) here.

A very sincere Merry Xmas to ALL of you here at YSFHQ. I look forwards to another year!
