I remember quite a few things that happened in 1996... my PPL was one of them.

Re: YS Flight Test Version 2013-04-28 Released

Why would we need that? Automatic carrier landings perhaps? Didn't try it out, just guessing. Apparently the more far away you get from the center of the map, various airplane parts or sometimes the entire thing wants to "shake". Yup, that was the way with YSF ever since I remember. Once upon I tim...

Re: Spying (Addon development news found eleswhere)

it still is not recognized in the Super Etendard DNM file. It is not part of it; it is standalone .dnm file in User/hangar/setendard(cmg)/ folder So what gives there? I have no idea, for me Super Etendard works normally and so does assigning its flares to anything else. So after you do that, all pl...

Re: Spying (Addon development news found eleswhere)

Please share where you found this beauty. CEPKzs screenshot uploader. Any link to the pack? Nothing yet, seemingly it's work in progres but S.C. publishes through Oranleed collection and probably we'll get improved Mirage 2000C too. http://raptor.ddo.jp/oranleed/cgi-bin/upppu/img/1935.png OTOH, thi...

Re: What Aviation Museums Have you been To?

Museums? Not much Canadian Warplane Heritage, Hamilton, Ontario - recommended visit is during winter season, when planes pounding the airshow circuit are on static display. Deutsches Museum, Munich together with its aviation overflow Flugwerft Oberschleissheim, you can get quite an overdose of aviat...

Re: Post your Favorite Airliner Landings!

Actually it's like screens or neon lights, it flickers so fast eye perceives it as continuous light and cycles can't be seen. Refresh rate of the camera was about 1/16 of Hz different from HGS'es, you can see that one cycle lasts appx 16 seconds.

Re: Have you ever toured/been to an Aircraft Production Fact

Yup, I went for my Q400 type rating to FlightSafety Canada, which was next door to Bombardier's Downsview factory. My group extensively toured cafeteria there and once they even let us to meet our future steed on the assembly line - they were in the phase of attaching wings to fuselage.

Re: Battle of the Noses: B757 vs A320

Have you ever seen this baby? http://www.airlinercafe.com/photo_7490.jpg This is an early 757 proposal. It's quite similar to the final model; wings are there, two high-bypass engines are there, fuselage is there just the nose is standard Boeing's from 707/727/737 and tail is seemingly borrowed from...

Re: Selecting the 2D elements (part of .pc2) in Scenery edit

Thanks a lot Waspe! At first I thought "Well, that's what I have already tried" but I finally figured out that if I go clear interface -- > select item, it doesn't work but it works well if reverse the order: select item --> clear interface and then click on the polygon. I said I was a noob, didn't I?

Selecting the 2D elements (part of .pc2) in Scenery editor

I have a problem selecting individual parts of scenery such as: thick lines, polygons, point arrays , etc. I have no problems selecting sceneries, terrain meshes (even individual nodes or faces) or rectangular regions but selecting single polygon works for me very, very seldom. I have tried clearing...

Re: New Map suggestion

Ouch.... we are talking about a lot of geography here; Cuba, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico... OTOH, we already have St Marteen (including St Barthelemy and Beef Island) and Porlamar with Tortuga so if their authors agree, they could be included in eventual Megadodo-style Caribbean scenery. Whoever decides...

Re: Tyobu car pack re-upload, please.

List name is air_tyobu_cars.lst.txt and path listed is user/hirose/aircraft/{individual car folder} while pack is user/hirose/{individual car folder}. As I sad, it took me half a minute to implement the fix.

Yup! That's what I'm looking for. It would be perfect if you could put it on YSUpload, so it automatically shows on YSfinder, if I'm not asking too much.

Re: Tyobu car pack re-upload, please.

Errrr.... thanks, but that is just one part of tap, namely tap-p. Not that it's bad but it does not contain tap-c and besides It's just the one I've sent over to Yuichi a couple of weeks ago after digging it out from rubble of my old laptop's HD (that's where I found Skyline's Bucc too). As for how'...

Tyobu car pack re-upload, please.

Does anyone still have the Tyobu car pack (TAP-C) stored somewhere? If so, I'd be very grateful if it gets re-uploaded. It was once available from Nanjara Japan but unfortunately, all I have left of it is DeLorean. You can see some cars from it in action here (along with Maru's, Takaty's, Kazu's, et...
