Re: flightsimhq.org.... What happened?

Am I right in thinking his pack modifies some stuff YSFHQ doesn't agree with? I have thought the same thing, but when I looked into it, I think I found that answer from Flake or someone. I love his sounds though... :) EDIT: I just found this... http://forum.ysfhq.com/viewtopic.php?f=223&t=4890&p=577...

Re: 360 Degrees of Aviation

The Sopwith Camel was designed by Thomas Sopwith, owner of the Sopwith Aviation Company. This company also produced the Sopwith Tabloid - which in it's Schneider version won the Schneider Trophy in Monarco 1914. Another one that uses smokewinders is the eurofighter, but unlike others, it doesn't use them on the wingtips.

Re: Boss A/F-747

Here is a 'beta' version of it. It's not a good one at all, the shading is terrible. It has 84 hardpoints, and it flies like an F-18E. Planned: Fix shading, add more hardpoints, and a bomb bay. I felt bad that after so long, a simple project like this still hasn't got anything to show for itself. It...

Re: Miscellania Forum - Why do we have it?

I also think the signature one was good - it was a place where we could criticize sigs, and hopefully the bad ones would be got rid of, after all there are some very bad ones out there! Mine isn't the best... While I miss TPBM & BTPAM, they often had nothing to do with YSFlight apart from the fact m...

Re: Squad combat stagnation

Right time for my ten cents. I agree with the fact that we younger members haven't taken things up like we should. But maybe there's a reason for that? (Or at least half a reason). From what I've seen, the reason a lot of the squads stopped is that the leaders suddenly had to do other things and cou...

How did the US get the Russians to hand over a MiG? Just how? A Russian Pilot defected during the Korean war, and flew over with his MiG-15. A MiG-17 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cf/MiG-17_landing_by_StuSeeger.jpeg The first missile kill by a F-86 was against one of these. Before...

Re: What is the Future of Aviation?

I would think we are going to see a join venture with unmanned and manned aircraft. Unmanned aircraft have the very attractive features of costing a lot less - ie: the video I posted a link to awhile back, while also not putting in danger a human life. But human presence is always going to be needed...

Re: GAC/GACRp Reupload Request

What I've found is there are all the models you need to make an extensive .lst file. Everything is there, dmns, srf, ists in some cases. You just need to build the .lst yourself - which is a pain. I've wondered (but not done so far) about making these parts one thing with a .lst file included. If an...

Re: YS Server Page

True, I forgot you were in process of doing that Eric (memory of a fish...). I saw this as a step to my plan of the ranking system - and thought that if this site was made more modern, and linked to from YSFHQ, it could help publicise YSFlight. When I go on there - the broken links really frustrate ...

As far as I know, the Australian F-35 start arriving in 2018 - a little way ahead yet! The first squadron operational in 2021, with the others operational by 2023.
Australia has so far ordered 72 F-35As

YS Server Page

Who is in control of the http://marcjeanmougin.free.fr/ys_servers/ page? Is it anything to do with YSFHQ? This is a great site, lot of useful stuff on it, and is very simple, but is maybe getting slightly outdated? It even still has an iframe of YSPilots on it. It wouldn't need to much of a redo, ma...
