Were there line numbers associated with the error?

You mean that moving the .dnm file to the Desktop solved your problem?

YSPS is a proxy I wrote a few years ago which intercepts the traffic between your YS server and the YS clients, consequently it adds several functions to the YS servers (changing the weather, kicking people). Yes.
So, the unshadow script + exporter script does the same works of the EdgeSplit (applied) modifier except creating the additional vertices.

That why, at the moment, instead of scaling the objects, the mesh of the object should be always scaled. You're telling that scaling should always be done in Edit Mode ? Actually, I scaled the whole model because I realized I made it smaller than the real dimensions. Yes, this due to a bug I though...

There is definitively a bug with object scaling. That why, at the moment, instead of scaling the objects, the mesh of the object should be always scaled. I fixed the position of the aileron by selected them, and pressing CTRL+A apply Scale to OBdata (do not use apply scale and rotation to OBData !!!...

I didn't check, I thought you had made a brand new topic, but your question was in the logic of an existing topic.

As far as I understand, the undesirable faces come from the exportation from Blender 2.5 to 2.49, and specifically from the face in Blender 2.5 with more than 4 vertices, don't they?

- If you have many triangles: there is a function to convert triangle into quad ( Edit/Face ) - if you are brave, you can edit the faces by hand - if you like automatic things, you can use the Decimate modifier or the two poly reducer scripts in Mesh/Scripts , but the results are quite ... computer ...

DO NOT APPLY THE MODIFIER (if it solves your problem, there is a bug in the export script). Do not applythis modifier because It will create additional vertices. The unshadow script just detects the sharp edge (and mark them) then use the "edge split" modifier to display an unshaded model according ...

Blender uses arbitrary frames for the animations
You can start your animation at frame 1 and stop it at frame 42, the export script will manage this case, but your animation will be slow.

You can also modify the frames at which the animations are started/stopped in the file libysfs.py
