Re: [PACK] C-130J Hercules

Thanks for stopping in! I completely agree. I was getting frustrated with my attempts at the cockpit and wanted to release for folks to enjoy as-is. I'd definitely like to revisit this once I've got some more motivation and work on the cockpit.

Re: Decaff's Garage

Getting back into map making! But in Blender! :o Planning out what airports to make for the Philippines project so I can at least get a v3.0 version out with additional airports planned for future releases. With all the markings that I've created for these airports, I plan to put together a mini-rel...

Re: Issues Installing the 20181124 version on Windows

Like welshy said, for civ, there is more flexibility but 2012 or 2015 are recommended for stability and flexibility. some servers run OYS which works with both 2012 and 2015 versions, but others will not run with OYS and thus you can only connect with the netcode version that the server is using, bu...

Re: Save file format

Zer0ah, in the flight log, the aircraft class is likely a good place to start, but the YFS2CSV is also a decent tool for you to use as it helps transcribe the raw data.

Waspe's input to the yfs parameter help topic is my go-to resource for all things related to the replay (.yfs) file.

Re: Airbus A 340, A 350, special schemes.

Based on my experience tracing logos, I would suggest you find a better reference image for whomever decides to do this. While the text part is ok. the details of the jet will likely be getting lost / garbled because they are so small.

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

An awesome turnout for Friday Night Flights. We had Spock, Decaff, Turbofan, Patrick, Ultraviolet and new to YSFHQ, Pipes_Gripes! I lost connection to the server and YSF crashed for me, so I didn't get a complete replay to run the mapping tool on, but whatever! We flew from HNL to Hilo then on to LA...

Did a few flights on YSCAS today but YSFlight crashed twice so I called it quits before completing my last flight.

Re: Installing

I assume you mean the YSFlight installation, rather than any particular addon, correct? If so, which version YSFlight are you trying to install? Are you an admin on the computer? Try to see if you can copy any old file into the directories you mention.

Re: Current Projects

Working on a python tool that will take a replay file and for certain pre-setup maps generate a flight path image like below (Actual flight path flown by me on YSCAS this weekend). Currently exploring how handle everything and output data for different flights, but I think this has potential to be a...

Combat stat tool request for input

So if you are not aware, I've put together a tool that analyzes .yfs file replays in order to extract information. The civilian side is super easy, but the combat side...not so much. What military-related stats would be useful/desirable from the military analysis side of this code? Some limitations:...
