Formation flying spacing

Hey ya'll Is there an option to adjust the spacing for planes using the "Form on my wing" command, or the default formations? I want to make a few wallpapers of some planes flying in formation, but with a larger gap between the planes. I was looking for a four plane formation, with about 50m lateral...

Re: Empty .lst files

With the Chippy ho! I made the .lst file correctly but it wouldn't work for some reason. Someone sent me a link to theirs which worked and the .lst files were identical and worked for me. I don't know if it's because I'm on a mac and something just wasn't making the mac version happy or what.

Re: Empty .lst files

Thanks guys.
I was getting a little worried that something on my computer wasn't working quite right. I've had .lst issued before with Martin's Chippy Ho! and for whatever reason that particular lst file got messed up, so I'm glad that this is completely normal.

Re: Empty .lst files

I don't why these .lst files got emptied, but hope...

Re: Empty .lst files

Here's a vid of what the problem is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqSgDuP_ZNg You can plainly see the lst file is empty yet still loading the plane in the original program. I'm stumped. I guess I'll just re-download the .lst files and go from there unless anyone has any suggestions. Im on a MacBo...

Empty .lst files

Hey all, I'm currently working on getting rid of planes that I'm not going to fly and putting the ones i will fly into a separate YSF program(don't worry, I'm not deleting anything). In the process of transferring the files i want to keep, I've been finding that the corresponding .lst files are empt...

Re: Hello Everyone!

I was thinking about starting with making maps. It seems like it would be slightly easier to do and more interesting to me. I've always wanted to fly on an Area 88 map and thought it would be fun to make. It seems like it would be an easier map to make.

Variable flame afterburner

Hey all, I was going through some of my more high def planes and noticed that some of them had non-afterburning exhaust (clear) and then flames for afterburning exhaust. I was wondering if it was possible for there to be different lengths of flames for the different throttle levels while in afterbur...

Saw a documentary about this monster in it a while back. If you can get those engines in place it will be an awesome plane...ship...hovercraft thingie.

Re: Flying Boats And Spy Planes

Gunny thanks for mentioning the kodiak map for working with these. Do you know of any others that work? If not, how could I modify one of the stock maps to allow for a water landing?

Flying Boats And Spy Planes

Hey, I've looked around YSFHQ and other affiliated sights and cannot find a lot of flying boats, hence this request. I'm looking to fly a passenger plane similar to some of these: http://www.clipperflyingboats.com/ Flying Boats have mostly been forgotten by the world and I'd love to get into the coc...

Re: Replace Default Carriers

It's the unfortunate consequence of YSF being open source. My current YSF main folder is over 2GB. Most of it is pretty nice stuff, but there's a lot of planes I will probably never fly. That being said, it's given me a lot of practice troubleshooting all the errors I've gotten.

Re: Tu-123 Yastreb Drone

Yes it does. It looks similar to the XF-103 that was just posted. Similar wing and fuselage might allow for an easier mod.

Re: Heavy Metal Jet Team L-39's, T-33 and Mig-17

I saw these guys this summer with 5 L-39s and the Mig-17. I would have liked to see the P-80 perform, it's a classic.

Re: [Blender] scripts to import/export .SRF .DNM .FLD .YFS

Hey crazypilot, Are you running mac? if so look at my previous post a little ways up the page. the scrips folder is hidden inside the .blender file (It's not a folder). If you are on a mac it's similar to how you add addons to ysflight using the 'show package contents' command. use the command shown...
