Re: Current Projects

I'm liking the promise of a Do-335, I've always had a bit of a sweet spot for that design.

Re: 360 Degrees of Aviation

However, the X-15 doesn't hold the fastest manned air breathing speed record. That is held by the glorious A-12 Oxcart.

It looks like the 707's had modern nacelle-moving thrust reversers. See here: http://youtu.be/5dpFLssaSXw?t=1m2s

Re: Problem Finding Blueprints/3-view

Oh how I wish that was what I needed. Unfortunately that seems to be a "regular" C4 type of ship instead of a MARAD designed one (not a clue on technical differences, but they look very different). I've seen this page several times: http://drawings.usmaritimecommission.de/drawings_c4_ma_types.ht, bu...

Problem Finding Blueprints/3-view

Alright, I have an idea for what I think would be a really cool addition to what could be used as basically a sea-based superpowered ship. My problem is, I'm trying to recreate a ship from a book series, which is based on this: http://www.moore-mccormack.com/images/TSES1.jpg This is a MARAD Type C4-...

Re: 360 Degrees of Aviation

An aircraft which is modified to mock the A6M Zero in modern airshows is the T-6 Texan, or SNJ Harvard, whichever you like best.

How hard is it to understand how Jeopardy works? Here, I'll give you an example of it in action, just so we're all clear. http://youtu.be/6f1kRTlTukI

The aircraft that the Attacker was based on was the Supermarine Spiteful.

Re: Aviation Jeopardy

This is a really easy question, but I like the idea of the topic and would like to see it continue on.

These two brothers made the first powered flight of an aircraft.

Another aircraft to use the Hispano-Suiza HS.404 cannon was the United State's P-38 Lightning, albeit under a different name. Image

The General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark was also a large, two seat, swing-wing attack aircraft.

Re: 360 Degrees of Aviation

The Northrop P-61 Black Widow was another twin engine piston aircraft in World War II, but it served a very different purpose, and was the first aircraft to be designed to use radar.

Re: YSFHQ WW3 Server Patches

Oh, I see. But somehow another user managed to sail under the Russian flag when I was on the server. And to Eric, I already looked there. My only problem is that the links to download the patches do not lead to any files, just to a page that says there is no plugin to attach, or something to that af...

Re: YSFHQ WW3 Server Patches

Yeah, because one patch makes it so the aircraft have some different payloads, and the other makes it so sea vehicles work on the sea. Does anybody have them?

YSFHQ WW3 Server Patches

Could anybody upload the WW3 server patches? I've checked on both 2ch's website and YS Upload, and while I found them on the 2ch website, the links lead to an inactive page. So, I'm a little lost on what to do now, and figured I should check and see if somebody has the patches for GAC and GSC.
