https://orig00.deviantart.net/aa5c/f/2018/188/7/3/dc_10_10_beta_by_nightraven49-dcgiw5l.png Finally, after 2.5 years of on and off work on this, I have made my DC-10-10s available for YSFlight with the full range of schemes of this variant. Performance in game has also been tweaked to be less buggy...

Re: Mig-41 Firefly Pack

._. seriously, i always deleted everything but that part on export *facedesking hard* No, you don't just have to delete everything, the object MUST be selected in order to be exported. In fact, you can just select the object without deleting everything else, then exporting to srf while keeping that...

this was mainly due to a buggy srf export script in blender that would export the file but it'd be empty.
You need to select the object to be exported before exporting.

Re: Current Projects

Ever since I enlisted, I've had hardly enough time to work on mods meaningfully. Still, http://i.imgur.com/b7o4gpg.png http://i.imgur.com/uzeJAw7.png The DC-10-10 from my last post is legitimately done externally. The only addition from that post is the 3 CF6-6 fans, complete with 38 blades per fan....

[AIRCRAFT] Do 335A-0 Pfeil

http://i.imgur.com/4yDiYWt.png Since this was requested quite a while ago, I decided to make it recently as a way to see how fast I could scratch model a simple DiF standard Pfeil, and to see if I could release anything before I enlist. This project took about 8 days in total (including the few day...

Re: YSFHQ Flight Logging - All VA managers and pilots please comment

MR have an website that register everything from player's total flying hours, aircraft's total hours, a page for VA economy based on its activities, oh damn, a lot of features. That was the old YS servers page, which died a year or so ago. I believe it was made by vince, and worked in conjuction wi...

Re: ✈ .:SARF Server Pack v2.0:. ✈

Love seeing DOE's and Zenuz's work, but there is an issue. Since you have changed the user folder from the Provisional Pack, the WPNSHAPEs will fail to load for those that still reference a SARFP1 folder instead of a SARFServer folder. You would have to either rename the folder (and edit the lst) or...

Re: Polygon Issues

The 2 things I can think of is that 1) the entire model is filled with doubles or 2) you set the entire model to have Ys double faces. Generally you can fix 1) by selecting all and pressing W -> Remove Doubles, then exiting Edit Mode but keeping the object selected, click Set Smooth. This will cause...

Re: NightRaven's Shed

So 2 weeks in Malaysia with very little internet connectivity gave me enough time to finish off pretty much 99% of the external parts of the visual dnm. I am glad I worked on the flaps and slats last, because they gave me a huge headache. The flaps now also have the RL positions of 15deg, 22deg, 35d...

D.O.E released one last year with two paint jobs: https://forum.ysfhq.com/viewtopic.php?f=169&t=7933 ... I'm sure DOE has released one here on HQ, though the detail level is surely far higher than what is being requested. I'm looking for a low-mid detail X-02 that is not from either El Dorado (EEE)...

If NightRaven doesn't have anything, i'll see what i can do. xablau I've lost my entire YS collection since my HDD failed me a few months back, and I have not been working on any Ace Combat aircraft. I also happen to have forgotten the name of the packs that have the X-02. I'm sure DOE has released...

Re: Flakes Construction Yard

Flake, just curious, is this entire copy pasting and calculating based off the dat variables? I am unsure if this will be entirely accurate given the (probable) different flying styles (flaps, rudder etc). Does it also take into account TVC? also, it seems the summary of the tested lst is broken. Th...

Re: [DISCUSSION] Aircraft Regulations for Combat Squadrons

I have found out that 2ch (the Japanese YSFlight community) has a GAC pack which has basic A2A combat aircrafts, with real life like .dat files. It has a lot of aircrafts from a lot of countries (Japan, US, Russia, etc.), so it might be useful. Just saying... It could be worth review - Thanks for b...

(my thread) So I've got a new SSD and got Windows 10 up and running again. And that means that I've finally gotten around to finishing the nose gear of the DC-10 that I've been procrastinating on for the longest time. It's almost done, with one more strut to go. http://i.imgur.com/hoQOXG5.jpg I have...

Re: [Blender] scripts to import/export .SRF .DNM .FLD .YFS

I think hardpoints are called HRDPOINT, not HPT, so the script does not recognise the variable you are trying to input.
