Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

Remembered in one of my Lightning books it talked of one instructor who would do a very short finals, sometimes landing on one wheel, mid turn and many times with a lot of afterburner. So decided to recreate it. However I have learnt beer and lack of YS proficiency is not the best for skilled flying...

Of course not. Due to the unique way the British Army is funded, all our Challenger 2's are now made of cardboard.

Re: Ex-JFH Aircraft Brought By US Marines

All I have to say about the Marines is that no matter what utter shite people are spouting elsewhere, you know they are in the background ready to talk sense and get the tools for them to get the job done. If it was left to me I'd have BAE go back to the drawing board, dig up the plans for the Super...

How are you finding the bamboo? Kind of tempted by one, but I get the feeling it's just sit next to the desk not being used :S

One of my favourites from a skate comp the other week.

Ex-JFH Aircraft Brought By US Marines

The 74 strong fleet, plus spares, of Ex-Joint Force Harrier aircraft, are being sent to the US Marines in a deal that should hopefully ensure they can fly Harrier's till 2020. More info on Joint Force Harrier Only thing I'm curious about is which marks are being sent over and how they compare to th...

I never got the hang of orbits either. Admittedly I prefer to play in full screen so can't access the oribit chart without crashing the game so no idea how quickly I should be going for orbit, I just try and go fast and end up crashing on the other side of the planet :S

Re: Origin of your username

My name is Tim. The x was added because I had already used Timmay for another character on an rpg I used to play. I love the Middle Ages in general and the world of Middle Earth. Aragorn of LOTR is kinda my hero. 15 is a random number. Comparing LOTR to the Middle Ages is like saying, I really like ...

Re: Spitfire guns firing after 70 years buried in peat

I was more excited by the recovery of his flight helmet than firing the guns. But some of those comments where just ridicules. I mean how does one over glorify the role of Britten in WWII? What you have to know Gunny is that British school children aren't properly taught our own history, especially...

Re: Red Arrows Pilot killed in ground accident

RIP Sean Cunningham

There is something not right about this accident. Either it was a planned ejection and the chute has failed to open, or, what has probably happened in my opinion, it's an unplanned ejection and there is a serious issue with these seats.

False, I'm no good with narrative. If I wrote a book it would be historical though.
