Re: The Welsh Addons Hangar

Nice! Looking good already.

I knew which geographical area you were referencing as soon as I saw "Balearic", the CMIs are just to the east of the Balearic Islands. :)

Got some more screen shots for you guys from last weekend's FNF flight from SEA to ML2. Decaff taking off as I lumber down slowly to RWY 16R. Looking out at the huge GP-7000 engines. https://i.imgur.com/jJdrDIc.png Neocon airborne in the NatCom TU-154, I'm holding short. https://i.imgur.com/KJWQTL8....

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Another cool jazz tune, with some great piano mixed in like Brian Hughes' band always has. This one got a lot of good airplay on TWC back in the late 90's.

What version of YS Flight are you running? The ELEINT scenery only runs on version 2015 or higher.

Re: Weather In Your Area 2020

Yep, much of the damage this time was due to branches falling on power lines. Our power crews do a fine job and many crews from other states have come to help out as well but yeah, the amount of damage is quite large so it will be a while before everyone gets power again. High temp today: 60F, tomor...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2020

Back online after one of the worst ice storms to hit OK. More than 250,000 customers without power at one point, still 200,000+. Lots of trees damaged, limbs down everywhere etc. Any ice storm is bad enough, but you throw an ice storm in October, when all the trees still have leaves on them and now ...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2020

On Thursday last week the high temp was 85F. Fast-forward to today after a couple of cold frontal passages and a strong, unseasonable winter system, the high topped out in the upper 30s after midnight this morning, and we're under an ice storm warning. Looking at widespread ice accumulations between...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

This came up in my Spotify Discover Weekly, the title caught my eye and once the chorus came through I realized I've heard this song before but never knew who sang it. Catchy tune!

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Another great classic by Gerry Rafferty. This is a faster version that used to play on radio stations all the time in the 70s and 80s, I like it better.

That must be the most flights of all time in any YS ATC session! Kudos Dan and Dave for hosting this one and appreciate the great ATC. Glad a lot of people could make it, whether by road or by air :)

Re: What are you listening to right now?

I did wonder about that track at the end of the movie when I heard it the few times I saw it. Interesting, did not know it was the Van Halen brothers who wrote this. I do like the intros Van Halen did on some of its songs, it certainly had instrumental talent as well. Especially like the intro to "I...

Re: What are you listening to right now?

^ Not a bad tune there. This appears to be very recent, still has that distinct voice though!

Here's a great tune from the great Gerry Rafferty that didn't get as much attention as soem of his other hits, but fun song nonetheless to listen to.
