Re: Something that caught my eye in Decaff's site

I concur with Neocon. 2009 is the way to go, also the learning curve is shorter than newer releases.

Re: Something that caught my eye in Decaff's site

I have a few personal maps I have edited together from several other folks maps. But that is perfectly fine as long as I do not try to release them to the community at large without getting the original creators permissions first. For instance I added to PNMVs WESPACs, Taiwan and The Philippines. I ...

Re: Any maps similiar to Guam To SoCal?

May I suggest "The Northern Caribbean" by PNMV if you enjoy general aviation flying. Also if you have the inclination you may want to learn to use the scenery editor and make your own maps, its not all that difficult to master really.

Re: Making YSflight Videos.

I misspoke myself when I stated Bandoo, what I meant to say was Bandicam. The paid version has not time limit or stamp. Also it converts many different file types for processing to a editor. Intell graphics built in Pat. But it seems to handle my requirements very nicely. 3.30 Gz is more than enough...

Re: Making YSflight Videos.

Your right Pat. The video editor they have is not WMM & neither is the screen capture they have. I looked up the newest version of Bandoo it is simple and effective and I think I will go with that in the paid version, No logo or time restrictions if I pay for it. As for the editor I will look into V...

Making YSflight Videos.

Could someone give me some guidance as to what software is best for recording flights? I have not made a video for so long that all of my stuff is obsolete in Windows 10. But Windows 10 does have a good video editing software included. Just need an up to date recording software to convert to a video...

Sorry guys, but I never claimed to be a photographer ;)
I reference to my previous post about the new[rebuilt]computer, I promised some screencaps.

Re: Your ambitions...

I just fulfilled one of my ambition, upgraded to a new[rebuilt]computer, Dell optiplex running Windows 10. May not seem much but it runs rings around my old xp. Even on my most heavily populated sceneries with elevation grids and ground objects It is running in the mid 20s FPS. And runs smooth as gl...

Cessna 310r for Gunny

As some of you may know, I am a dyed in the wool prop fan and a past real world private pilot. I would humbly request a detailed and HD YS version of a Cessna 310R, and yes I am aware of the skill and time required to accomplish this request if someone should accept it. It is very much like my signa...

Re: Screencaps (Unedited)

Landing kinda awkward, caught a gust at the last minute on touchdown. 210Deg @ 8kts at EINN Shannon RW-06.
Not as pretty as the original flown earlier. But not to bad for a doddering one armed old geezer.

Re: Screencaps (Edited)

Successful finish with 12% fuel in reserve. The flight was so long the program could not save the flight and crashed. About an hour and a half longer than anticipated about seven and a half hours. I love this planes squatting breaking action that Flash built into it.

Re: Screencaps (Edited)

A series of flights to circumvent overflying Cuba to avoid the political paperwork  The last map shot I have not flown yet, just waiting for some extra time and energy. All flights where flown using NEOCONS Baron/Cougar a true 300ktas turbo. And of course the scenery is PNMV, always give credit...

Re: Max Number of planes?

@ Herc15, I have over 2G aircraft in my file. So as decaff_42 posted I would explore your list files for list inconsistency's within those files. The modelers try very hard to keep there files consistent but from time to time something will slip by them. I know I have had to correct a number of them...

Re: Weather In Your Area 2019

Made it through the worst of it. Now its just a matter of waiting out the rain. But power was out for about two and a half days, we just now got it back, my back yard is nothing but felled limbs and branches. But it was nowhere near as bad as the news made it out to be, at least here anyway.
