Empty .lst files

Hey all,

I'm currently working on getting rid of planes that I'm not going to fly and putting the ones i will fly into a separate YSF program(don't worry, I'm not deleting anything). In the process of transferring the files i want to keep, I've been finding that the corresponding .lst files are empty, so when i go to copy them, they can't be read by the second program.

That being said the planes are still readable in my first program, even though that .lst that I'm trying to copy is empty.
I've been noticing several cases of this, so it's not happening to just one modder's work.

Any ideas on fixing this short of downloading the packs again and taking those .lst files?

Thanks everyone

1. If you're using linux, I'd assume it has something to do with that since those are the people who generally have .lst issues. I'm not all that knowledgeable about it.
2. Please name a few examples of .lst's that are empty for you. If the .lst is empty in the first program as well it shouldn't be loading those aircraft.

First: Let's do this right. It "Hey ya'll(or y'all).
Second: Re-downloading is the only thing I can think of.

Here's a vid of what the problem is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqSgDuP_ZNg
You can plainly see the lst file is empty yet still loading the plane in the original program.

I'm stumped. I guess I'll just re-download the .lst files and go from there unless anyone has any suggestions.

Im on a MacBook Pro i5 2.44Ghz with OS 10.6.7 and I've got the latest version of YSF

Would you like me to upload them in case they still don't work?

I've found a five other empty lst files that seem to be working
air_buck.lst
air_mh3w.lst
air_zziceman_a4.lst
air_zziceman_ef2000.lst
air_zziceman_hkyodo.lst
air_zziceman_spdice.lst

I'll just try to re-download these guys and work it out from there. I don't why these .lst files got emptied, but hopefully it won't happen again.

EDIT
I downloaded the BNI pack again, and found the lst files empty in the download pack. Can you send me a link of your lst files that are full?
Thanks

What program are you using to extract the zipped files? Think it is something with the fact that you are using a Mac.
Also, do the empty lst. even have a size?

Haha, those .lst's from ice are actually empty.

I'm not kidding, I have them too. They're blank. I think they all are. You have to go in the main .lst for those packs, like mh3w a b ect. to pull the lines from the planes you "want to fly"

Thanks guys.
I was getting a little worried that something on my computer wasn't working quite right. I've had .lst issued before with Martin's Chippy Ho! and for whatever reason that particular lst file got messed up, so I'm glad that this is completely normal.

Oh, yeah, I down-loaded that one and it works just fine, but, some times you
have to create your own entries/ file.lst in order to have one work right. I'm
guilty of having loaded new aircraft into the main aircraft folder and entered
them into aircraft.lst because the file structure in the included file.lst looked
too hinky for me.

With the Chippy ho! I made the .lst file correctly but it wouldn't work for some reason. Someone sent me a link to theirs which worked and the .lst files were identical and worked for me. I don't know if it's because I'm on a mac and something just wasn't making the mac version happy or what.
