Its called the "spam" folder.
I have e-mailed him several times in the past years about suggestions and requests and he has replied back every time. Maybe not as soon as one would like but then he even apologized for late replies.

And that search feature he first put in for searching aircraft? I asked him about including that for maps also, and he put that in for the release that followed (I do not quite remember but it was 3 or 4 releases ago)

Online voice chat system, that's either its own system, or one that somehow integrates with TS. This will allow for dedicated ATC, and it will let players in the same aircraft/floating vessel/iff be able to communicate with each other without other players listening in.

I would like to be able to change from knots/feets to km/h/meters

I think a few new CLAs would be super useful. Altitude, attitude, airspeed (properly, not VGW), throttle, perhaps climb rate, and a few other general instrumentation CLAs.

It would allow a whole heck of a lot more cockpit customization with, I assume, not a whackload of work on CaptainYS's part.

YSFlight Wishlist

YS desperately needs something to manage range detail, so we can have HD aircraft on HD maps without ending up with decaff's CPU temps. There's only one level of coarse for aircraft and a good amount for scenery (which is lacking in most maps and about every detailed one). It would be nice if an added tag (keywords and such) in the dnm file could activate some doohickey in the client, removing/adding excess parts per view range. Zoom in = more detail & less YS fov (scenery, sky, useless objects). Zoom out = less detail (cuz no one has a 4k monitor) and more YS fov. Then that would [hopefully] balance out fps rate.

Pretty sure that is already possible, provided that you have both a HD aircraft dnm and a coarse dnm. Then you press crtl and set aircraft quality to auto. That way when the aircraft appears small (ie far away) the coarse model is used, while when the aircraft appears large enough (ie close up or zoom in) the HD dnm is used.

Updated wishlist based on what I can't do with OYS.

-More exact server time - use an unsigned short (0-65536) specifying the current second of the day the server is set to and round across the spectrum (because there are 86400 seconds in a day).
-Gradient the lighting between these times - full Day at 43200. Full Night at 0.
-Have a dawn/dusk color in the FLD definition. There is already a GND and SKY color. Make a TWI color (Twilight). If you are feeling generous, DWN,DAY,DSK,NTE and gradient between these values according to the server time... 0-20% = Night 20%-30% dawn, 30%-70% day, 70-80% dusk, 80%-100% Night.

-Gradient the sky so that 0ft is full sky color and 120,000ft is black.

-Fog at 20,000m or farther out is sky color. Fog at 0m is white. Gradient in between. This is definitely possible. https://www.opengl.org/sdk/docs/man2/xhtml/glFog.xml

-Already using bloom effects with GL 2.0. Advance this with a sun object and blinding effect.

-G effects. Greyout 4g-7g. Blackout 7g-10g. options to configure which ranges these come into effect.

-Smoke follows wind direction. All smoke should follow wind direction.
-Smoke has velocity. Smoke anchor points should have an initial velocity of say 20m/s with a negative acceleration of 4m/s/s.
-Smoke uses particle system, like clouds or "fire".

-specify per aircraft sounds.
-aircraft turn left and right based on bank angle when on the ground.
-aircraft turning faster then their wheelbase can handle will tip outwards of the turn.
-RUDDER ACTS RELATIVE TO THE AIRCRAFT ANGLE, NOT THE WORLD.

-Loosen netcode to allow sending of new entity joined packet to an already joined user - allowing to send for example "parachuter" aircraft object to a player already in an aircraft, or one that has not yet sent a join request.
-Fix buffer overflow error in map name being sent - lots of garbage on the end of the map name!
-Allow change of sky color etc. with packet 43 misc cmd
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Better altitude step down procedures for the ATC from FL30 to FL015 in five miles is a bit abrupt don't you think Soji? ;)

I wish there was a way to turn off the [Missile] warning message that stays in the middle of your screen when a missile is locked on to you. Flash once or twice and then GTFO.

I agree when I used to do fighters that screen was always a pain in the ejector seat. And speaking of screens that screen for refueling every time you hit the brakes should be placed at the bottom it obscures the text for other comm. applications. Its aggravating as sin.

On that note, can 'unpaved field, overrun!' also be put at any other place but the middle of the screen?
