I wonder if that could be done server-side? OYS...

I'd rather be able to see at night than worry about the guy next to me locking me out of the cockpit.

you know what would be awesome if they add to ysflight??? two things!
1. smoke from the tyres when you land
2. the sonic boom cloud or whatever you call it, you know when a plane breaks the sound barrier or something like that!

Better physics. I know this game is an arcadey combat simulator at heart but a little realism wouldn't hurt.

Ooh I forgot to mention better visibility, like beyond 12.5 miles. And transparent white fog or some color option you can set in the fld.

i guess with all these ideas we should re-optimize the coding to handle the increased detail better. i think the engine is hitting its limit with what Realism25 introduced.

An inbuilt G-Limit would be fantastic. Dogfights would then not be entirely turning fights in overly hax planes pulling 40Gs without bleeding speed.

And if only dogfights weren't just entirely turning fights... I've been playing War Thunder recently and it's quite clear dogfighting can be more than just that: rolling scissors, barell rolls etc.

That could be nice, but would probably be better as an option rather than a fully integrated no off button thing.

And uhm, they aren't. I use a variety of tactics depending on what I'm in, and what my enemy is in. The only time a dogfight involves almost nothing but turning circles, is your classic stock F-16 duel to show who is the better dogfighter. G-forces in a dogfight will not change much, but they will make the fight slower.

Yeah that would be great too. Maybe as a dat variable to allow older mods to be compatible without throwing up errors.

Or lights that illuminate other nearby objects, not just the ground.

That would be nice if night mode in YS was less illuminated.
Rainy, windy, super dark scenario. That sounds fun.

Ya know, I'm sure I could help you all in these regards quite easily if I had the code.

I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Varying radar ranges?
Kinda silly having AWACS planes only able to see within a 100 mile radius

For that matter, it would be nice to have the map have special symbols for navigation aids (VOR, etc.)
