Re: YSFlight Wishlist
The SAMs and AAAs should have some reliance on the radars, so if these radars get knocked out, the accuaracy of these should be slightly nullified.
I think YSF could have jamming pods and antiradar missiles, and some more powerful bombs should be introduced. I'm not asking for nukes, but 1000lb bombs and the like would be cool. Going hand in hand with these bombs, there should be a cratering effect on the ground whenever an explosive hits, roads and runways included.
Longer-ranged AGMs would be nice, and wouldn't something like napalm seem cool? I'm definitely no animator, but something that looks like a default fuel tank, that's programmed to light on fire when it hits the ground, should be easy enough?

Add rotations to the weapon hard point definition. That way you could actually model wingtip rotation like on the F-18 and F-35, F-16, etc.

Agree. Also it would be good if rocket not depend from velocity indicator, but choosing of target need use cross indicator like gun.decaff_42 wrote:Something really easy:

Some improvements to YSFlight
I am suggesting some improvements to YSFlight. I hope it'll be possible. There should be improvements to the weather conditions and environment settings to make it more realistic such that one can add rain, snow, hail, windshears, clear air turbulence and wake turbulence. Also, if it's possible, there should be humans, passengers. The autopilot should also be improved such that it can behave almost like the A330's auto pilot.
Also, other realistic items like passengers, ground crew, etc.
I bet if these improvements are made, YSFlight will become more popular to even places where it's not known like Nigeria

This is something hard, because you have already in the market the FlightGear (free and open-source) lots of people contribute every year to make it more realistic ...Emmanuel988 wrote:Captain YS,

But anyway, the weather and improvement of the autopilot instruments is something I expect to YS in future.

Re: YSFlight Wishlist
Not just that, I think that the missile targeting system needs some upgrades. I hate it when there are lots of targets and the lock constantly moves from target to target. It should work more like in real planes (with helmet targeting, boresight, other stuff.) Of course a simpler, Ace Combat-like targeting system would work too.ksh wrote:how about a tone sound for when you lock on? also that you can lock onto a pilot with the IFF but istead of a square it comes up as a triangle...(thats how its works in real life)
Also the AI should be improved. It's really predictable, always tries to start a turning fight, which turns out (no pun intended) to be a boring game of who shoots earlier. And it shoots like a stormtrooper, or suddenly kills you with a perfectly aimed burst out of nowhere. I read it somewhere on his site that Soji wants to make an AI that learns from the player, so it can be trained and AIs can have fights. (It reminds me of Pokémon.)

I do agree with more advanced radar; YS' radar is rudimentary at best.

Re: YSFlight Wishlist
Didn't ysflight have stealth fighters with radar jammers? The vfa49 aircraft I was flying one day didn't get detected by radar. (I think it was something like stealthhornet)rodsantos wrote:I think YSF could have jamming pods and antiradar missiles
