It should be doable, right? Like in the WW3 server. How about some of its other features, like the /listuser and /fr, or even the G limit function? I'm not trying to be greedy, but I'm wondering if a WW3 server would be doable again, considering the original one hasn't been online for quite a while.

yes, a server like the wwiii server, especially with the different radar limits would be amazing. Oh... and now that YS has the change vehicle option, maybe in-air refueling can work too now?

Just thought of this, wind gusts (like, gusting from 5 to 10 kt). Could make landings more interesting.

wat

Isn't it already included?

In fact, I once tried landing a 747 with a 40 kt crosswind.

Nope NightRaven not gusts just a steady flow @ all altitudes and all locations on the map.

But I got a wish a new flight controls assignments editor.

I would like it so that the ground vehicles such as the Fuel Truck could be put in the back of cargo aircraft such at the C-130 or An-225, I have tried to do it but noticed the cargo door was just a visual, it would also make the VA's much more realistic for cargo flights and maybe you could incorporate Mid-Air Refueling with it also

I want my Extend Mid-range missile with data modifying.

You know, R-77 and AIM-120 have different firing range.

1) Vapor trails from the wings only appear at +6g -4g at 300+knots
2) Parts of the aircraft fail when hit in a dogfight, e.g. your left aileron doesn't work.
3) Turn down the unpaved surface bouncing.
4) Very rare but random engine failures on aircraft.
5) More realistic start up sequences. But still simple
6) Velocity vector stays same size when zooming in.

But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. I like how YS is minimalist, and comes in a small package. Its also a great entry level sim. Not too gamey, and not too complex.

1.Improved physics
Better flight physics (more realistic heli handling, autorotation, torque, ground effect, stalls, spins etc.) Airplane getting damaged if you maneuver it beyond its structural limits.

2.Improved handling for ground vehicles and helicopters
I would like for the ground vehicles to move more realistically. Accelerate while a button is pushed, and steer instead of just turning in a direction.

3.Ability to control multiple Engines
And the effects of flying with one engine

4.Flight systems
Glass cockpits based on the HUD as an option in some aircraft. Also simple aircraft systems and weapon systems. Pilot and Copilot/WSO option. Working AWACS. More options for autopilot (rate of climb/decent altitude/heading hold)

5.Ability to transport things
Be able to transport/airdrop small aircraft and vehicles in larger aircraft. Same thing with slingloads for helicopters. Also the ability to tow gliders. This option will also allow for flying carriers.

Miscellaneous
Weather, seaplanes, sound of passing aircraft, an in cockpit crashcam option where you can see smoke and flames.

As for something completely unrealistic, I'm thinking of something like flyingfisch's idea. A war mode for YSFlight. It could be a simple balanced fps laid on top of the maps, with the option to fight as people, ground vehicles, boats, and planes. If we had a larger user base, and servers could hold more people we could easily have a large scale war game like arma that can run as low end computers.

Not sure if this was mentioned earlier.

A way to edit bullet speed (no, not fire intervals).

In game colors a la minecraft style
resizable hud
custom sound pack per aircraft
corrected rudder physics
correct momentum physics (fast thing turns slow)
atmospheric gradation

New idea, maybe we could incorporate YS into smartphones, YS is only a 20mb package right?
Im pretty sure some phones such as the Galaxy S3 or IPhone 5S could run a simplistic version of YS, maybe a local multiplayer feature, and limited addon packs, GAC quality or lower. That would be the most amazing wish for YS possible :D

Captain YS has started development on an iOS version of YSF, though current progress is unknown (at least to me).

There is even a YouTube video :

Though an Android version would be nice...

Look at the date for that video...2012年4月1日
But you're correct, he is planning on YSFlight for iOS.

Now what I want is something easily achievable: no need for X11 libraries for the Linux server console version of YSFlight. It's a bit of a pain to have to statically-link the libraries each time (or to just install X11 to get the libraries).
I make this website.
