Hamachi YSFlight Server?

Post by dragonslayer38 » Sat May 04, 2013 3:34 am

Well i'm pretty new to Hamachi and i can't port forward my VoIP and router so i found out that Hamachi is a useful tool to use for servers. If i create a ysflight server through a Hamachi server, is there a way to make it appear on ysfhq server list? If not how else can i let others know my server is online?

I'm not too knowledgeable on the server list. You'd have to ask eric about it.
But if it doesn't work that way, probably the most you can do is make a topic about it here...
I dunno.
so long suckers! i throttle up my tigershrak and create a huge cloud of dust. when the cloud dissipates im lying completely dead on the tarmac

Hamachi creates a private and non public network between selected computers, so no you cannot add your server to the ysfhq server list. (Plus only people in your network could connect)

Please try without hamachi, you will have to configure your computer firewall, static IP address and your router, guide here - http://ysfhq.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=144&t=1529

Thats the problem for me, the portforwarding. I've been asking question all over yahoo answers and i can't get it to work eventhough i portforwarded port 7915, and my friend told me about Hamachi so i decided to try it out. I have a Voip box and i just have to put all the blame on it for causing soo much problems for me. Although i still am interested in tying to make a Hamachi server.
