flightsimhq.org.... What happened?

So I recently visited the website that introduced me to ysflight, flightsimhq.org.

On the resource link section it says this:

NOT RECOMMENDED is ysfhq.com AKA Yspilots (Alert 2010. Forum allows racism and neocon propaganda plus they have banned / blocked me / removed my servers and posts)

Can anyone provide some info as to what happened? Also what the hey is "neocon propaganda"?

Sorry I accidentally posted this on the little quick chat on front page.

Am I right in thinking his pack modifies some stuff YSFHQ doesn't agree with? I have thought the same thing, but when I looked into it, I think I found that answer from Flake or someone.
I love his sounds though... :)

EDIT: I just found this... http://forum.ysfhq.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... mhq#p57785

Hi. I'm Neocon. I have been known to publish propaganda, but mostly maps and repaints.

Anyway. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe that he collected a wide range of packs, modified the .dats, and then offers a download of these as his own 'realism pack'. Essentially he takes addons and redistributes them without credit or against the original makers will. This kicked up a fuss of YSP where he was eventually banned. He then holds a grudge against YSP, which carries over the YSFHQ because we're removing his free speech or some shit.

He comes across to me as being one of those slightly unstable fellows that are paranoid about being watched.

Also, don't download his realism pack. It's ridiculous and will never be installed on 42South.... Ever.

Tried his "realism pack" once. don't remember what it did. probably either resulted in screwing over my install or being not realistic at all.

If you server owners want to avoid all sorts of load errors you won't load his pack.Re: Midnight Ramblers post for the skinny on this individual.

I am pretty sure it wrecks the game and you have to start fresh to get it working again. Again, if I recall correctly, I knew this and tried it out on its own dedicated install, but never used it much.

Realism Pack is NOT the Real Pack.

Yea when I did have it there were a load of .lst issues and errors loading the .dnms Have to admit though, the sounds were really nice.

Still can't see whats the beef with neocon? Patrick are you hiding some secret satanic cult within your neocon brand?

He does credit some people for their models and maps.
