YS Time Trial
OFFICIAL THREAD FOR POSTING YOUR BEST LAPS
Welcome to the Time Trial topic! The goal is simple, post your best time, and other pilots try to beat it. It's surprising how long you can try to get the ''perfect line''. Time Trial is also a great way to sharpen your skills for the big events!
Prep your aircraft for High speed and high G's, and good luck!
Rules
-You may use the vehicule of your choice to set a new Time Trial
-State the exact name of the vehicule used
-If you are trying to beat someone's time, you must use the very same vehicule and scenery
-You may use any racetrack scenery previously released to set a new Time Trial.
-You may come up with your own layout on any previously released scenery, as long as you clearly explains how to proceed
-You may fly your lap both online or offline
-You must submit your lap time accompanied by 2 screenshots, one at the start of your best lap, and one at the end. For cannonball runs, include one more screenshot per touch-and-go. We need to see the wheel touch the ground
-the screenshots must be unedited, no cropping, no resizing, and showing the replay command box opened, with the time captured
-Hide your screenshots with the forum spoiler function
Tips
-Make use of the ''Out-In-Out'' turning method
-Smoothness is the key to keep your airspeed as high as possible
-Don't gain altitude when you don't need to
-Look a few gates/rings ahead to plan an optimal and smooth flightpath

For you GA pilots, here is a canonnball run. Make sure your navigation is precise because a few degrees off and you'll loose precious time!
In Patrick's Bahamas map, can be done offline or on 42south. From Duncan Town to Deadman's Cay to Col. Hill. Touch-and-go at Deadman's Cay. You may use any means, in-game or out-of-game to navigate. [/spoil]
Time starts as soon as you release brakes [/spoil]
At least one wheel must touch the tarmac! [/spoil]
Time stops when completely stopped [/spoil]
