triple monitor YSFlight

Post by NeurAxaL » Mon May 25, 2015 12:18 pm

so I recently moved to three screens, YS scaled decently, but there was a little problem with the two outermost monitors being zoomed in more. video should be coming sometime next week, but for now here are some screenshots:
my usual desktop

I used FLashes HD TYphoon because i wanted to stress the system. It never went below 60FPS! If you want to see what something would look like on tri monitors, just PM me. System specs:

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 aircooled @ 4.3Ghz
Cooler:Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G43
RAM: Mushkin BLackline 4Gb
GPU: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD7770 1GB FLEX Edition
PSU: WinPower 650w PSU (overkill I know but oh well)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB
SSD: Patriot Blaze 128GB
Case: CiT Galaxy Evo (Blue LED)

pictures taken on my phone so osorry for the bad quality.

I tried this out the other day, it is very fun to play with. But do you get two small black boxes on either side of the cockpit sometimes?

That neat. Except YS doesn't render all the viewing angles on super wide displays.

you need a PCI-E graphics card, with support for three monitors. mine (HD 7770) is a FLEX edition, and so techinically could drive four 8-) but i just adapted a DVI-I to VGA, DisplayPort to VGA, and HDMI to VGA, then through AMD Eyefinity i got desktop on all three monitors, and using a great program called Actual Multiple Monitors, stetched it over three screens.

Happy?

we cant all have the best. VGA isnt awful, and YS it wouldnt make much of a diference if it was anything else.

Depends on the graphics card or the board.

The integrated Intel graphics isn't bad when adding more displays, especially for a program like Ysflight.
