Help me!
First head over to the server list here. Its also linked at the top in the "Ysflight Online Servers" banner.
Here you can check what servers are online, whos playing online(dont mind the nsa), the current servers settings (day or night, wind, missles on/off, etc), and what map the server is running. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE MAP INSTALLED ON YOUR SYSTEM. If you do not have it installed do a search on the forums, ysupload, or google the map name with the key word ysflight, click here for an example
Then open up Yslfight and navigate to the "Network==>Client" menu.
In the Client sub menu simply choose a name (its perferred if you use your ysfhq username), paste or type the server address and make sure the port is set at 7915. Hit "OK" when finished.
Youll then be at the client userspace. Due to some servers using addons logon times will vary. PLEASE WAIT TILL YOUR LOGGED ON..Once youre logged on select your aircraft (note that each server has its list of aircraft that you can use), select a start position, an IFF if youre on a combat server and hit join when ready.
The other options are pretty self explanatory.
What happened to the server guide and rules thread?
