CALLING ALL MODDERS: YSFHQ PACK NEEDS YOU!

So I got to thinking. The Oranleed pack and CEP2, all those packs are good and solid, but the creators are hard to reach and the work is slowly getting outdated with each new release. So I had a thought - I want to begin the YSFHQ Pack.

The pack will be called HQP, and the fun part? I want this pack to contain a high-detail scratch-built new model for each aircraft listed in the stock aircraft list. The ultimate goal is to create those aircraft and their variants as almost an alternative to the stock aircraft, making this pack something of a one stop shop for newbies. A lot of aircraft are due for a good make over, and any help is appreciated.

Want to contribute? I'm going to open a special subforum in the WIP section just for this pack, because it's a community effort. If you wish to do an aircraft, simply state the aircraft you would like to do in a new thread (much like the WIP threads here) and start updating and modding. The DATs should be checked over before entering the main pack, but it would be fun to have a whole slew of modders put this together. And I know I got the dream team right here.

If you lack the skills to scratch model but you think you can paint, don't hesitate to start painting blanks. The more, the merrier. All work will be included in this pack.

Let's see, I have the 747, F-104, BAe Hawk, C-130, MiG-15 and MiG-21 that can be used, and maybe I can give the HD makeover to some of the DIF models (similar to what I did to the Tempest) for the WW2 entries in the stock a/c list.

Also, if you could update them with lights and new weapons hardpoints, that would be awesome. And perhaps an inst panel too.

What kind of paint job you have in mind? Simple generic ones like the stock stuff?

That's up to you. You can make as many or as little repaints as you like, but I want to make them look realistic. The whole shebang.

As long as they include blanks.

In a way I carried on with the various GAC repaints in my main a/c pack, and now the Down In Flames pack is sort of the spiritual descendant.

The INSPEP pack practically began the current Birdfarm/GAC wave we have going on right now. And I must say, it's awesome.
