Most Important Aircraft for Server

Post by Scarecrow »

In lieu of a future YSFLIGHT project, I have a question for you...

If you were to make your own aviation PC based game/simulator, which aircraft would you want to have featured? Obviously, you could not feature every plane with wings, but which would you feel to be the most important?

What's your list?

Since there is an abundance of flight simulators which include only the aircraft which have entered into service, I would probably want to create a what-if oriented game to bring out the cancelled and forgotten side of things. I'd likely make it a cold war era/extended cold war game, with aircraft included such as:

F8U-3
TSR-2
CF-105
F-108
B-70
T-4MS
MiG 1.44
F-23
Mirage 4000
(the list would go on for a while, but you get the idea)

I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

B747-400
Piper J-3 Cub
F-16C Block 50/52
Lockheed U-2 "Dragon Lady"
F-84 Thunderstreak (and XF-84H Thundercreech; the loudest plane ever made)
AH-64A Apache
AIM-120 AMRAAM (yes, a flyable missile.)
Bell 204 or 206
Boeing 314 Clipper

Tu-95 "Bear" (with nuclear bomb weapon!)
B-17G Flying Fortress

Someone explain to me why the full double-deck 747 doesn't exist yet...

Or better yet, the Boeirbus A380-747-8. Y they no make it yet?

Add in a MiG-31 and Su-24. We still needed a fast jet and a bomber-interdictor, so...

Or maybe even the Kalinin K-7....
