OK, so I've been curious for a while as to the approximate distribution of people using DirectX vs. OpenGL versions of YS.
I would really appreciate it if everyone could fill out the above poll.



Oh, and I really can't give a reason for this thread, apart from personal satisfaction and science. :P

A few months so far I been using OpenGL (ysflight32_gl1), but the other ones give me a lot of lag (ysflight32_gl2)as mentioned before here: viewtopic.php?f=285&t=8482

DirectX is Windows specific, but tricky can be using on Linux and OS X under Wine runtime

I have PuppyLinux 6.05 on 8-year old laptop with ATI RS600 GPU, so normally can use only OpenGL 1.x version of YSFlight...

I am keen to optimise maps for usage by as many people as possible: currently I am in a situation where DirectX users may be at a moderate disadvantage, and I want to know what percentage of potential users could be affected.
