I'm trying to fulfill the request on this GitHub issue, but I don't have older YS versions available. Can someone please either link me to or upload the following YS versions?

- YSFLIGHT 20120701
- YSFLIGHT 20130805
- YSFLIGHT 20150425

I would like to add them to the YS download page. Much appreciated!

Thanks everyone! With your help I was able to organize the list of versions we currently have saved. Here's what I've got now: https://ysflight.org/files/ (click the link to view the index)

What am I missing? Once we finalize the list I can publish a new version list on the download page.

Great!

And what about versions released from May 1999 to May 2002?

I think we may need to ask Soji for those. I believe he provided us with the older versions, though I wasn't involved with that at the time.

Has anyone tried to mod or explode the DNMs of older YS versions? I tried to peek into the earliest F-14 model and I can't load it on dnmviewer.

Yeah, because no one has that version anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Odd, dnmviewer can view DNM type 0 and 1, but that must've been before Soji nailed down the exact code for the models.

Found a version of that at http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Games/Ys-F ... ator.shtml so it has been added to the files list. Anything else before I publish?

Good. Think, while Soji not yet give you versions from May1999-May2002, thats all at this moment.
One note for http://ysflight.org/downlad/ page: add info about what is latest stable release version on the page.
Optionaly, add info and links for latest test version too.

Great, thanks u2fly! I updated the page to include information about the latest stable version. The test version numbers can change pretty frequently, so I just included a link about test versions that goes to the relevant page.

I'm emailing Soji now to see if I can get those old versions. If I can get those, then I can start putting all the versions into a nice table.

Update: Soji said he doesn't have the versions in between those dates, only started keeping packages from May 2002 onwards.

"Stable" release.

Maybe we should just tell the truth and call it the most recent update?

Well since you obviously don't understand what I'm talking about, best to just let that joke go over your head.

If 2017 stable version is anything like 2017 test version, then that absolutely confirms my theory of never downloading a version past 2012  :|

There is no need to fly a sim from 1999 in 5 frames on D3D. Especially when only a three year difference (2014 = 64FPS on ctrl+3 d3d) turns into something monstrous in such little time.
