In celebration of 20,000 YSU downloads, I have decided to release a "Beta" from my 737 pack repaints. This isn't really much of a pack, as it will only be one airplane, but it will have my LITE cockpit and is a test of my lighting edits and will be the first test of my modified wing.

I will upload it later today after final flight tests and dat tweaks!

Didn't do much to my fps and I sure had a good time making a short flight in it. Are there gonna be any strobe lights on them though?

By the way I was flying it on a high detail and large map as well and didn't seem to have any considerable issues with it. I'll get it in a replay with a bunch of other aircraft soon and see how it does then also.

I just flew it in St.Marrtins and had a blast. All F-9 views are well within acceptable FPSs from 45 to 65 F-1 cockpit flew at a constant 30 FPS no matter the angle viewed.F-7 and 8 where in the 30s and F-2 in the 40s.All settings set to high for this flight.May I suggest an F-1 view from a jump seat position to take advantage of that awesome console you worked so hard one. ;)

Even though, there isn't a jump seat in the NG versions, a viewpoint would be lovely in there! Thanks for the suggestion :D

Flew it in hawaii with no fps issues as far as I could tell. I have a bad graphics card, so that's really saying something. ;)

Well, I was looking at my blanks and realized that the -800 model wasn't long enough. It as four rows short, so I added those by stretching the cockpit and moving all the parts. Took about a half hour, but worth it.

Okay, after looking at more images to start painting, I realized that the NG 737 engines are a little different from the classic engines. Therefore I updated the pylons, giving them more curvature along the top, and lengthened the fan housing.

That rocks! You are doing a great job on the details. Just one thing if you can do while you are fine-tuning the models-Boeing has basically ended the eyebrow windows, so if you can take those out and "fill" them in, that would make it even more NG-like. But at any rate, fantastic work!

Thanks! I just fixed those up! I left the -600 with those windows as it was the oldest, and some had them.

Okay...Phew!
The meshes for the NG models are DONE. I am not doing anything else to them. I got the engines, the windows, lengthened the fuselage, edited the wings....A ton of work has gone into these.

Here's a quick look at the paints I've got on the NEW paints:

I was able to copy over some of my westjet logos and tail for this -700 model:

Das upgrade in progress!

I cheated a little by inserting the old fuselage I painted and stretched it
I still need to get the inside surfaces of the winglets and it will be ready.

Well, Skyline spammed out a high quality B727-200 mesh for a request, and i decided to try to help prep it for animation and stuff. After spending a lot of time working on Takety's 737s, I've gotten some idea for how to set up the parents and such, and have had some modest success with the inboard front flap system. The landing gear, from all the references that I can find, doesn't have to extend or shorten like the 737 landing gear during extension or retraction.

It should be noted that this is only in blender, and I haven't exported it. For the most part I've been naming the different parts so they be easily identified and adding the appropriate empties.

I got most of this done in the 2 hours of free time

Err, you sure you're using my mesh? That's far better than what I gave you.

[edit] Looking back through this topic, it's amazing how great your work is. Really first rate.

You would be amazed at what decaff can do with a mesh. ;)

Edit: Yep Skyline he is quickly becoming one of the greats.
