I've come to call it the Hornet ADV.VNAF ONE wrote:This is a little confusing. I mean, there is a such thing as the Advanced Super Hornet, and this isn't it. Maybe a little more unique naming?

We could use something akin to the NATO Reporting Names - Hornet-G?NightRaven wrote:Hornet ADV is already used in the F/A-18I/U in AC3 versions anyway, of which SARF uses.

Re: Palm Security Hornet

Re: Palm Security Hornet
I was merely trying to point something out. It was a suggestion, but if you want to take it offensively then have it your way. I didn't even say what I think about the plane.Swift wrote:and? no thank you? no "that's a nice plane", had to be the name. is it that big of a deal?VNAF ONE wrote:This is a little confusing. I wasn't taking it in an offensive manner, I just don't get what the big deal is.VNAF ONE wrote:I was merely trying to point something out. Re: Palm Security Hornet
I for one am sick of the "MOAR AFTABURNAS AND WEPNS" war.
Let's go back to bad ass 1980's cold war jets that handle like pigs, where the manoeuvring tactics of the pilot actually mattered more than the ping.

Re: Palm Security Hornet
I thought I would add my bit to the conversation.
YSFlight is entering a new era. The fictional ace combat planes are now the thing.
The beauty of this game is the ability to make our wildest dreams come true.
If you done like it. Don't worry. The phase will pass like all others.
Have fun!

Re: Palm Security Hornet
You might be sick to death with it, but others are not. I really don't see whats wrong with someone coming up with new aircraft ideas. This, by the way, isn't a new design. The F/A-28 has been on YSFlight for sometime. I don't see why everyone is upset about it now. Is it because it's under Palm Security branding? Palm Security plans to list this plane as a CF-28 Stealth Super Hornet. We also plan to operate some real life based F/A-18 adv. super hornets and F/A-18 super hornets.xX_SuperSic58_Xx wrote:We all know why this topic is blowing up.
