I just seen that http://www.hostinger.com is linked with website called http://www.vps.me

are you kidding me, free VPS's! and no credit card required, I'm so trying this out now!
UPDATE: Perhaps I was a bit too hasty, there is a signup error and taking a look at there facebook page everyone is complaining :(

I think YSFlight works on Ubuntu, this could open up a whole lot of new servers for YSFlight.

Take it from me... running a public YSF server on a linux VPS is not going to work stably :D But nowdays you can get a really fast windows VPS (plesk included) for all your needs with 30 pounds/month. I wrote a tutorial here a long time ago on how to do it, to encourage starting high-quality servers.

I would like to point out that there is no support for us UK users and seeing as 4 of the main VA's in YSF have British CEO's this doesnt exactly help...

Always an option for others, though.

If you can afford it, get a windows VPS. It may cost more, but it saves you a ton of headaches. I even had the RPFS VPS setup so the RPFS officers could access it through remote desktop at anytime to add planes, change maps, kick people.

Nice find though, Lucas :)

Here in Brazil, the Hostinger BR still does not charge. Only you can create a site every 24 hours, and earn prizes.

I created my website free of AAVA.

If anyone needs help with setting up an Ubuntu YS server, just send me a PM. Linux is really not that hard to set up, but a command line interface scares a lot of people off. If you can get a linux host for half the price, why not?
