[March 5] CivAv ATC Session
The event will start at 12:00 PM Central (6 PM GMT) and last until it ends.
The map will be announced soon. It will most likely be the Middle East map.
The aircraft installed will be the standard list of aircraft installed on the YS Civil Aviation Server.
Come on over and have some fun flying with friends.

Re: [March 5] CivAv ATC Session
No need to file any flight plans yada yada, just join the server, spawn in any position (preferably a ground start position) and announce your callsign, where you are and what you intend on doing. So it will go something like this:
"Dubai Control, Emirates One-Three-Seven on stand F10, destination Kuwait City, requesting pushback." Pretty simple. If you have a cruising altitude in mind, you can request that at this point, if not, ATC will assign you one.
If anyone's interested in doing ATC, we can use one more controller so we have two (you don't need to have ATC expertise but some knowledge of ATC is required). If you're interested just send me a pm. Also, please note that you cannot use Discord to do ATC, since we'll be using only the in-game chat (F12).
One more thing: this will be 2015-only. Most everyone by now has the 2015 version. If you don't have the 2015 version, I suggest you get it if you want to join.
On that note, see you tomorrow! Hope to see a fair number online tomorrow

Also, we'll use the default ATC channels already available. Flight Comms 1 will be used for Emirates Center, which will control the following airports:
Dubai Int'l (OMDB)
Abu Dhabi int'l (OMAA)
Sharjah Int'l (OMSJ)
Doha Hamad Int'l (OTHH)
If there is another controller available at the last minute, I will assign him to Flight Comms 2, which will be Bahrain Center and that will be used to control the remaining airports:
Bahrain Int'l (OBBI
Dammam Int'l (OEDF)
Riyadh (OERK)
Kuwait City Int'l (OKBK)
If traffic is light (expected) and I can control all airports, I will do that. If traffic gets too heavy for one guy and no other controller is available, the airports listed for Bahrain control will become Unicom-only, as I expect the "popular" airports will be OMDB, OMAA, OMSJ and OTHH.
