F/A-18A Hornet Demonstration Team

Post by Zack » Fri Feb 22, 2013 1:06 am

Hi.

We would like to tell you guys about the hornet team we are developing. (The name is in the works so far we have a fantastic display!)

Over the past week or so, we've been flying online together, and we've decided that we should try and do a two ship F/A-18A Hornet demonstration at an upcoming show.

Here are a few pictures from our first practice.

Currently, we are using the Metallica F/A-18A, but OfficerFlake intends to make more appropriate liveries for the team soon.

Once we have the liveries and display sorted, we'll create an official topic for the display.

Thank you for your support!

Yeah we'll probably stick with those for a little while, maybe a week or so.

Gizmo I'm shooting you a pm about livery.

Hey, are you guys going to fly in the next airshow? I'm working on a F-18D Aggressor Solo, perhaps we could do a flyby together?

Not too sure yet. We'll do a few practices and find out.

If we can make it, then I think that can be done.

Woo! Go Metallica Team! I saw your practice airshow a few days back and I congratulate you, GIZMOs and OfficerFlake for how much time, practice, and precision it takes to make up an airshow like what you guys did. And why are their only two demonstration F/A-18A Hornets, i thought there were 4? Anyway, even you guys flying with the YS Thunderbirds, you two are very excellent, experienced air demonstration pilots. I wish the best if luck to you two and good having you with the Thunderbird team, and good luck flying in any show. Hope you are still flying in the future to rock the skies! :D
