Yeah, I'd honestly go to the next airshow just for that. You should spam some rockets and missiles at the crowd while you're at it.
wth iz a necro?

This site is soon going to be worse than the new HAVA website.

Should have a bit of a physics defying airshow where people do barrel rolls and shit in 747's...

I concur... Considering YS physics are already quite silly, we may as well exploit them in airshows with stock aircraft. I suppose a few spaztastic ideas would be low flying inverted A320s through hangers, spiraling Tu-160s from 60,000ft, spinning/hovering F-16s, and yes, barrel rolls in a 747. Oh, and forget the pretty smoke with flare spam!

You guys need to come to more air shows. We've had this stuff already happen before lol. It's nice to have 1 or 2 but just don't go overboard.

Interesting. In actual airshows, some pilots try to do wicked stunts. In YS, since we have basic physics, we try to keep demos true to life. TBH, the stiffest aircraft I've flown in YS was a blue dolphins plane. Tells a lot right there.

It's very difficult to get aircraft in YS to behave similar to aircraft in real life. I know this for a fact especially since I spent all of last night researching and developing one dat to fly as close to its real life counterpart as possible. Of course, YS physics are very very basic so aircraft can only behave up to about 70% of their real life examples.

Because of that, there are many examples of demos in YS that are definitely beyond their real life limitations. However, it's nice to try to stay realistic sometimes because it allows our shows to be entertaining. Then of course we do allow some that are basically nonsense, even including demos that would be capable of setting the atmosphere ablaze or destroying international relations. However, too much of each will saturate the show. That's why usually a bit of nonsensical, some realistic, and a few "pushing limits" displays are a great balance.

Everyone can go nuts in a plane in YS and make it do impossible crap. But does everyone want to watch 2-3 hours of that? I don't.

Welcome to what we organizers have to deal with and why the schedule's usually not ready till the week of

Can confirm. The YSFAA has learned its lesson to not let Ace Lord, a bottle of vodka and a large Russian cargo aircraft mix together.

Working on a glider demo, using the swift. But as I use a dongle to get the web, don't think I'll be able to do any displays. :(

V-bomber!! as this year is the likely last one for the vulcan. So there will be no more displays by it.
