YS Aerobatic Team Recruiting - All Welcomed

Post by Kujo » Sat Oct 17, 2015 9:28 pm

Hello, YSFlight Aerobatic Community! A new YS Aerobatic Team is recruiting and planning to bring some activity back to the Aerobatic part of the HQ. The team's main goal will be to practice and perform well enough to take part in live YS Airshows. We will continuously be looking for seven people who will accept this challenge. If you have any past airshow experience (flying, spectating, etc.) that is welcome. If now, then we will be able to train you until you are fit for flying the full routine at public YS events.

A team member / recruit MUST

- Be able to attend all (If not, MOST) of our practices and shows
We will plan one practice each week (Mostly Thursdays or Tuesdays)

- Must have good (Not perfect, but that is fine) internet
This will help the problems of having a team member time out or experience extreme lag during the performance

- Have a microphone & TeamSpeak 3 build
How else would it be possible to communicate quickly while in flight? These are absolute must-haves

- Have a joystick / throttle / rudder pedals etc.
NOT ALL of these are required, but if you own them anyway that is A-Okay. Some virtual pilots might have a twistable joystick, or a throttle dial connected to their joystick which is fine.

- Never abandon the team
Enough said.

We are currently looking for seven aviation and aerobatic-enthusiastic individuals who enjoy the adrenaline rush and excitement of airshows. We plan on seeing you in the skies soon!

Well, crap.

This sounds really awesome though and if I had the time and internets I would totally come onboard.

Forgot to mention this, but if anyone knows someone that is interested in this outside of the YSFHQ, OR they have left but have a YS Aerobatic experience, feel free to try and bring 'em here! :)

Needs gliders...
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

I don't think I have. If he was at Last year's Airfest, I either missed it or my memory of it is gone.
