The YS Civil Aviation Server and PMNV Creations present an afternoon of action in Honolulu with
The YSCAS Air and Ground Race: Honolulu
SERVER: civav.ddns.net
WHEN: January 3, 2015, at 1:00 PM Central Time (7:00 PM GMT)
WHAT IT IS: An air race around Honolulu, starting at PHNL, followed by a ground race at Sand Island Raceway.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Log in on the day of the race. Racers will be assigned start positions by a surprise method announced just before the race. Because the modifications to the map have not be released, practice for the air race will require logging into YSCAS starting on January 1. The halos will be present, or you can activate a race using the OpenYS commands.
FLIGHT PLAN: YSCAS will be using OpenYS and will take advantage of the new racing system coded by OfficerFlake. For the air race, halo ground objects have been placed around Honolulu at varied altitudes. The aircraft used will be the stock P-51 Mustang. Differently-colored smoke is encouraged (set smoke to noodle for better frame rates).
AIRCRAFT INSTALLED: The only aircraft required for this race will be the stock aircraft and Zak's Murcielagos.
