Anybody here thinks that the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter is literally just a massive powerful engine with itsy bitsy wings with a pilot seat strapped on it And the fact that it had earned nicknames such as "The Flying Coffin" and "Widowmaker" from various air forces around the world doesn't help in its reputation as a "safe" and "forgiving" fighter.
Here is the NF-104A, basically a Starfighter on steroids that is used to train pilots in getting used to operating the X-15 and X-20 lifting body aircraft at high altitudes.

The Eagles are a blast to fly. Full stop. The F-15C turns on a dime, quite unsurprisingly, considering it is a dedicated air-superiority fighter. The F-15E however, definitely feels a lot heavier than its cousin. It bleeds speed profusely, especially at high altitudes, in which the C model has no trouble maneuvering in.

Playing YS those days, too much internet homework brings me to my PC, which i can relax playing YSFlight.

Made an PAK-FA which the AGM65 is now a trinity (WPNSHAPE script)
