No I modified all the Vor and VorDMEs to read past the original distances but that only works on the local end meaning my computer. If you are on a server they will read the servers .dat files.

I looked back over the stuff that you put in my dropbox about that. TF58 has it in his ground objects with a line in the lst for a dat and srf files for the vordme. Should I just plop it into the ground folder with a little lst to get it to work?

Edit: Never mind. For whatever reason my search function and visual search missed the files. All nice and purdy now. I can finally 'see' all the airports on the philippines map wherever I am.

The only thing you need to change is:
VORRANGE 20000km=this=12.427.764 miles.More than enough range for any Ys scenery to read.
DISTMESR TRUE & if you insert this into an ILS it will have distance measuring ability. But there is no need to increase the range on ILSs
If you are only using it on your home computer there is no need of changing the .lst file.
If you are going to distribute on one of your maps you will need to change the name as well as a new .lst file so as not to over write the original.
They are ground objects[Stating the obvious here.]
Although TF58 does not require you to ask permission to modify ground objects. It still wouldn't hurt as a common courtesy if your going to distribute it.

True. I think 2000km would be more than enough for the Philippines though. I'll make sure to give the proper credits.

Here's a shot for the newly re-discovered plane I'm gonna be playing with for a while.......soooo purrrdy! :o

Working on something new for YSFAS.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!
